#Death From Above is spot on with using GEO MTB HANDGUARDS to prevent instances like bending your handlebars in a crash! They PROTECT your HANDS and CONTROLS and I’ve crashed a few times myself while riding with GEO MTB HG’s and they’ve saved me from walking out of the woods with a broken shifter, brake lever or bent handlebars. They ABSORB impacts and although I can’t guarantee the bars wouldn’t have bent, I can guarantee that the results wouldn’t have been as bad! Next time the “TICK” heads out for a ride I recommend using GEO MTB HANDGUARDS.

so that bent the handlebar ok, so they are junk handlebars as I suspected. I've crashed with various handlebars and none of them bent apart from the steel handlebar on the trek 3900, I don't remember how, I think bike fell over or I crashed in the city centre, but in that's too weak anyway. I've had hard crashes with Bontrager Lowriser 650mm 31.8mm 6061-T6, when I was a kid, Bontagrer Race lite 720mm 31.8mm 7050 alu , Race Face Turbine 720mm 31.8mm, Race Face Sixc 35 Carbon 800mm, none bent, cracked.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I was of ourse alot lighter when I was a kid, but still decent handlebars, and the other with 7050 alloy are stronger than 6000series, I went over the bars hit bars on the side but had bar end plugs, the Sixc i hit when falling sideways off a ramp. Also had similar crashes to you, with several bars. I don't know what the Jessika bar is made of, very weak and and alloy not resistant to bending probably. Cus to bend a bar like that requires crazy force. But this was a common crash scenerio.
The stiffness is what matters with a through axle and tapered head set. Straight steer is more suited for a XC bike but for trail or Enduro. But at 900$ for a few hundred dollars more you can get a much better full suspension bike with better components.

Front brake lever should be on the right side not the left ffs lol Just like on motorcycles. Imagine being on a motorcycle in an emergency stop & you went for the clutch lever rather than the front brake because you were used to riding bicycles! Put them the right way around like we do in the UK :)
Dude!! NO WAY LOL, really tou out the front on the right ha ha.👍👍 that's nuts but we do have the steering wheel in the proper place!🇺🇸
Ltwoo is originally a subcontractor for sram.
Thats what the word on the street is? Dint know 👍👍
this video was clearly recorded before my reply, you already know about the brake pad thing, cus I mentioned it.😄did you get to see if the pad thing I suspected was right?
Man have not gotten to check into that yet, we will do some back tracking and see all about it:)
Wheelmaster wheels on Amazon go on sale quite often for about 70$
Seen those actually, just ordered one!NOT AMAZON THOUGH
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS yeah that's what I'm running for my rear now hopefully gonna grab a front one for Christmas
😉😉😉
"Should have hand some GEO hand guards on", And Some Balance🤣
Screw YOU!!LOL Need that balance SON:) Its hard going out there cold brotha!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS lol i know brother, I know!!!😂😉
#Death From Above is spot on with using GEO MTB HANDGUARDS to prevent instances like bending your handlebars in a crash!
A01s brake pads look like the same ones on the zoom brakes
Will look, thanks man
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS no problem if theres one thing I'm good at its scouring the internet for parts I dont need lol
HA HA Feel ya!
What bleed kit you use bro
Man like in the video I say that the bleeding process was very "all over the place" due to trying to use a shimano funnel def wasnt the right size. I asked for help and everyone swore by these, havent ordered it yet but heres an affiliate link. @@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thanks
so that bent the handlebar ok, so they are junk handlebars as I suspected.
Wow, all name brand my say somethign:);)
Yeah the Taff feels stiff and responsive, but waaaaaay funner than building something as opposed to buying, and we get some pretty funny content doing so😂😂😉 But completely understand what you are talking about👍
Opening up is considering how deep your pockets are..
Absolutely and around here they barely hold change!!!LOL
We in the same boat then. Love the channel, keep doing y'all . .. it works. Enjoy your time together while y'all can.
For sure man, you will enjoy Fridays opener segment, mail and coffee shout outs! Thanks for reminding me man, I think about that alot and were the channel would go but.....We got eachother now and thats all that matters
Give the used market a go. There might be a fair argument to make about spending $800 for an upgraded bike vs outright spending $800
Not bad thinking man,we will play with that idea for sure. Gotta love some craigslist:)
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Pinkbike is where it is at my man. Seriously check there for parts. Maybe you guys can use your expertise to help beginners to know what used forks or parts to look for. Often times a 2015 Fox 36 Can be found for under $300 and will out perform a $700 2020 RockShox. It is worth investigating i promise, you'll be able to stretch your dollar further

Put a 27.5 rear on the Taff already. It's gonna fit you better and make for a good video. I'm gonna comment " Mullet " on every video from now until you do it. Haha.
Wouldn't expect any less from you brother!! Lmao, we may try ha ha I bet the downhill will be awesome like that.
Everything will be awesome like that!!! Just as awesome as you and WolfDad.
MIGHT DO A MULLET!!! Thanks brother, love the WOLFDAD!!!
What is a Taff anyway? Had to look it up. It's slang for a Welshman. I don't understand you, Schwinn.
HA HA glad you looked it up, I followed a rabit hole into Ignaz Schwinn!
Damn imagine going to lock the rear brakes up but its reversed 😬 maybe it's like driving on the opposite side in other countries 🤷🏻♂️
😂😂😂😂That would be an amazing PRANK!!! If no one got hurt of course!!!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS of course! 😄
you could have just flipped the levers upside down
Thought of that actually, then it would of been weird!! Cant have that LOL!!!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS lol yea it looks weird but when i had zoom brakes that how i rode them since im too lazy to rebleed them and all
Either too lazy are just waaaaay smater than everyone else!!!:)
I stumble over the break pads ur jiberising about all over the .com 🤔 l-woo might be the "mecanic" that needs to go back to bike shcool😆 had to take a 2 look at this to comment on it. The dude living next to me was drilling in the concret wall to drown out the sound of hillbily bikers on my sound system 🤪

Lol maybe street riding will be better for people to ride!lol
Your downgrading on your fork
Well we wouldent have a channel if we didnt try more than one fork out:) But the jury is out, we will see;)
No pro rider use those forks they’re cheap overpriced because of the coronavirus their price gouging
I think EVERYTHING is overpriced due to supply and demand and good thing im not a "PRO RIDER"😁😁😁
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Are you going to try the fox 🦊 fork on the GT
oooooohhh! IDK man?? Kinda want to but just not for the price, that would def be a company sponsor or a send in! But would like to:)
