Hey, I love your videos and am planning to convert my 2016 talon 3 into a single speed. I have ridden that thing to the ground . So, now i need to replace the forks, brakes and hubs but i wanna do it in a budget since if I get good parts for my 2016 talon 3 then the cost of the parts can quickly meet the price of a new bike. I don't want to spend more than 300 dollars and i tried looking at the used market but where I live , I can't find anything. So, what are your suggestions? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
To convert your 2016 Talon 3 into a single-speed on a $300 budget, opt for a rigid fork like Soma or budget suspension options like SR Suntour XCM, and use Tektro MD-M280 mechanical disc brakes for affordability. Consider a single-speed conversion kit to modify your existing hub or replace it with budget hubs like Joytech. Check online marketplaces or local shops for deals, and focus on DIY installation to save costs.

"On a budget" and then proceeds to mention the most expensive stuff like carbon handlebars and dropper posts🙂
