    Love June Taylor products. Came out so pretty. I’m glad you left the oopsies in, I’m not a beginner but I teach young girls to quilt using videos. You can tell them that everyone makes them, but nice for them to see, we all do and that’s ok! Thank you!

    I always appreciate your videos. I am currently working on my very first quilt. I do not have a sewing machine yet so I’m doing it all by hand. Even though you are using a machine, I’ve still have been able to apply your tips and techniques. Thank you so much. 😊

    I really enjoyed this video. I have made a June Taylor quilt-as-you-go bag. It was great to make. I always had trouble squaring things up until you taught me. Now I approach squaring things up with no fear, thanks to you Kris. These place mats will be good for summer BBQs.

    Thank you for showing us how you bind placemats. I've tried several methods, depending on what I'm binding. I also prefer single fold binding on table toppers and placemats. Love the fabric you used for these!

    These are very nice place mats. I love the colors used. My mother used to make her own starch. She would make it over a burner on the stove. It had a light blue color and dried clear. Her starch really made things stiff. She starched all our shirts, blouses, and her aprons with it (before hanging them out on the clothes line to dry). While I was in Basic Training in the Women's Army Corps (1966-1967), I starched my light blue, cotton, Physical Training, uniform skirt so stiff that it stood up on my bunk all by itself (when buttoned up) after I ironed it with more starch. It looked a lot like a lamp shade when I had it on (it was an "A' line skirt).

      @SewtheDistance  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh wow! That is fascinating! I can see the skirt in my mind! 😀

    Very nice. I should try your single fold binding method. I just finished a Christmas wall hanging several days ago. The binding was sewed to the back then sew it on the front method. It's ok, but I regretted not hand sewing it down. Thank you, Kris! Marion
