What is striking in this video more than the song in itself is the reaction on the guys' faces when they see the crowd spelling out "we are 1D family", these people were amazing at putting this together for them. Yes, you got it right, Niall is Irish. And you made a bit of a boo-boo when you said San Siro is in Spain... the San Siro Stadium is in Milan, Italy :)

As others have mentioned, yes Niall (the blonde one) is Irish. If you look closely all the boys have different colors of tape to help designate their mics. Niall's has 3 colors instead of one and it makes up the Irish flag :)
The flags colours are also like the way they are because Niall is colour blind and it is a bit difficult for him to figure out his mic , and with the colours of the Irish flag he can sort is out easily :D
