- While Rhoda and I have come for a business trip to Florida, we joined forces with Charlie Garret, who made a guest appearance on Jericho to Jerusalem episode in Season 3, to build a live stream camera that will show the beautiful views of the Little Sarasota Bay.

Editorial correction: in 1948, there were 200 people living on the key (not "two houses" as I mentioned in the video), but still, only a few houses. Today, there are over 30,000 people living on the key.

As a Sarasota native - my sister still teaches Sailboarding on Bird Key - I can tell you those temps are not as cold as it gets. In my lifetime I have seen it snow 3 times in Sarasota. And I have seen temps so low that they decimated the citrus industry across the central state :) I'm glad you can now share the beauty of Sarasota with the world 24/7 :) Mazel Tov!

I had a home there years ago and traveled back and forth from Ohio to Sarasota Florida since I was a little girl. This episode was a real treat. I miss Sarasota 😪 I haven't been there for years.

I Love "Your Love" of connecting Biblical history, and understanding,to the present day archiological finds and ruins in Israel. I will probably never make it to Israel, but you have shown me so many tangible connection to my biblical knowledge. I also have truly enjoyed seeing your traditions like the olive oil process, jewish baking and family + cultural fun. Never underestimate the Joy others get from watching your adventures. Outstanding!!! My grandparents owned a house on Indian Rocks Beach that they removed from an orange grove and rebuilt on the beach stick for stick. My great grandfather owned a lot of land there before all the transplants moved in... They sold the house and moved to Crystal River which is where I grew up. Beautiful sunsets, but I'm glad I live in NC now ;-) Love the mountains!!! Glad you had a good time :-)
