Very few people talk about the effects of competitive sports on the brain, and therefore judgement/reasoning skills, the ability to delay gratification, planning ability. Clearly they are gifted in some ways. But repetitive falls and head injuries take their toll. It can be really subtle in youth, or masked by other bad habits or bad actors in an otherwise basically good athlete's life.

You're not a hater, you're an educator! Don't let ignorant comments get to you.
Keep at it man I love this topic. I remember I was thinking man I would love to see more of this content if not I just might have to create some haha
People will hate you when you talk the truth I learned it from you brother keep up the good job
Remember when he was, "About Billions" 😆 I love Broner, because the Maidana fight was one of the best moments in boxing 🤣
This guy had $0 and his ex wife took half of that
I like your wearing dress shirts now, looks classy my friend. keep up the great vids. i dont feel that you are hating with the athlete vids, actually quite the opposite. even the super stars make mistakes like us common folks. it puts a lot of things in perspective.
Favorite Channel!!! New subscriber!!!
Social media has absolutely made society worse
To profit off the misery of others because any enterprising opportunist knows the population is unhappy and thrive on drama.
I’ll have a higher net worth than Adrien Broner in 5 years by working my blue collar job and living smart.
You already do.
Ironic how 'Spencer money' sounds the same as 'spend some money', and yet Spencer is one of the most frugal and money-conscious people I've ever seen😂
Truth hurts, its not hate. Going from making minimum wage to signing million dollar contracts overnight is like winning the lotto. Both don't properly prepare you for the required financial discipline. Keep up the good work Spencer!!
Mayweather seems to have found a balance between the two worlds. I'd say he started that modern flashy trend difference is he can back it up.
Good point
That's the point Broner wanted to be like Floyd but doesn't have the work ethic.
Mayweather lives within his immense means. But he got there by discipline first. These guys want to live like they have 100m in their accounts while having a 5million networth . They spend it faster than they earn it.
If you're looking for additional content ideas (not that you need it) - I suggest you look into child actors and their management of great wealth. I made a fortune as a teenager and today I am surviving paycheck to paycheck. My mother told me (16yo): ""yeah, you made 75k this year but since you're not 18, you don't have to pay taxes". Oh boy, was she wrong. I owe 32k in taxes. Lots of great stories from child actors and their parents.
Yk Osiris i know u watching this shit u be moving smarter lately
There's an anime called Gurazeni about a middle-of-the-road major-league pitcher who is intimately familiar with how hard it is be financially sustainable in the long run and so tries his best to save and make his money. Very grounded and realistic.
Is it good?
@@astaflo It's subs only. It's very good but you wont like it if you only like typical fantasy action anime stuff.
realistic story about the life of a major league pitcher and all the financial struggles that come with it.
@@sunder572 oh so it doesn’t show the sports action like haikyuu for example? I’ve been looking for more sports and slice of life stuff so I still might give it a try. I watch anime raw anyway so😊
@@astaflo oh lol its actually sports action. plenty of it. just no demon slaying or isekai harems.
stop living above your means when you have alot of money problem solved
What's worse is that they have no other skills to fall back on once their playing days are behind them
I honestly enjoy these type of videos because in my country (South Africa) most of our athletes end up becoming dirt broke within a few years of retiring.
So these videos really help me personally understand why and how this can happen when they were making millions yearly
Dude taxes and agent fees add up quick. On top of that most athletes don’t have guaranteed income. Investments go bad. Anything can happen
Bro you are inspiration for me❤️
more you make, more you spend, broker you go
And he kept asking me, "What kinda car you drive?
I know you paid, I know y'all got beaucoup hoes
From all them songs that y'all done made"
And I replied that I had been going through the same things that he had
True, I've got more fans than the average man
But not enough loot to last me to the end of the week
I live by the beat like you live check-to-check
If it don't move your feet, then, I don't eat, so we like neck-to-neck
3000'in...😁😁😁✌✌✌
Because most of us would make the same mistake put in the same position. And it can only help us prepare for life.
That title gave me a freakin stroke
agreed
