so you found the oil leak, it would have been really nice if you had shared with us exactly where that oil leak was and what you did to solve the problem!
It was the Engine front Seal, behind the front passenger wheel. Where the belt(s) of the engine are. There is a bushing you need to replace about 2.5" in diameter behind the belts.
One of the biggest issues I've noticed was, if a oil cooler seal goes bad. The pressure of the engine can cause all the oil to leak out at once. It's happened to me twice. Crazy.
I'm crying because my h3 hummer is doing this and that's exactly what the issues is. Now i have to make a decision to either get it fixed or wait and fix it next pay period. But it's my only vehicle so I'm going to just fix it and figure out the rest. I hate being an adult sometimes.
I got it fixed Saturday. Now the oil dipstick leaking. 😭. I pressure washed and clean the whole undercarriage of my vehicle it's looks brand new again. Besides the new leak from dipstick at the bottom. Apparently it has a rubber seal at the end. But I'm confused as of how oil leaks from that spot. But the things we deal with with the vehicle we love. Just annoying at times.
Time to pull out a sheet of paper and cost analysts pro vs con to fix and replace with older car to get out of the stuck zone . Most important is that you get the list then you are in control

Hi, my Volvo v70-99 automatic turbo has a leak dripping from back of the engine. Looks like from a hose. Steering is tough and something is rattling. Check engine light on. Left it at the shop but appreciate any input. -Peter
Mine leaks when is not in use after i use it and park it inside the garage. Hopefully is the motor cap. Because before i had a leak from the antifreeze and mecanic charge me money and didn't find anything. So i went and buy a radiator cap and it stopped the leaking and it dosent overheat anymore.
You said crank shaft but at the end you never mention if it's the back or front seal . Also you said it was coming from this area ,many would ask what do you mean by this area .

I check the oil pan drain plug and filter--all ok, but just above the oil pan there is what looks to be a black plastic housing and that had oil on it . Now when I check the oil level I can not determine if I over filled or not because the GD oil is so clear, but maybe I did add too much. any thoughts?

My friend has a leak on his focus fx3 that is very similar. Oil just pouring out. I'm thinking this type of repair is going to be worth a rebuilt engine
If its just a leak a rebuild is overkill. The leak in this video will require a new seal. The difference is a few hours to replace a seal as opposed to a day taking apart the whole engine then putting it back together again.

Bro I was driving last night and suddenly I started to lose rpms, then a few meters later the car stop, I tried to turn it on it starts a bit but the goes full stop, there’s a engine check and oil check. What could that be? My first response was to check the engine dipstick and it was low thankfully I was close to a petrol station, I purchase a quarter oil to momentarily solve the issue, it started but then it stopped I checked underneath the car and It was a moderate oil lick. Any Ideas what could that be ? My grammar is terrible. My car is a Hyundai Tucson 2009 automatic 4x2

Obviously front main seal leak. rear main seal is by the transmission. Anyone under a car looking for leaks should already know what these are.
