I was my college campus's DJ back in the day and I forced this song into the playlist rotation until people started calling it in to request it. It became the #1 requested song for 13 weeks and got mad play at all the fraternity parties after that. I was pretty proud of myself for it 😎

It really pisses me off that these guys aren't huge. Great songwriting, great musicianship, great vocalist. They never should've broken up, and we should have about 15 years of Big Wreck material. Most underrated band of all time.

Thank you Big Wreck ! I discovered Thornley/Big Wreck a year ago and I am amazed at how addicted I am. The song writing, the voice, the talent of the band, the guitar playing ! . I thoroughly enjoy Every Big Wreck and Thornley album with every song being worthy with standouts like: LadyLike, That Song, The Oaf, Off and Running, Blown Wide Open, Overemphasizing, Broken Hands, Hey Mama, A Million Days, Wolves, This is Where my Heart is, Under the Lighthouse, Head in the Girl. Thornley: Failling to Pieces, Beautiful, Come Again, Underneath the Radar, Your Song, Make Believe, Man Overboard..... Amazing. These guys are the real thing - talented artists making real music. What more could you ask for in a rock band ?. Although I would love a mega stadium show - it would be amazing to see and hear their songs in a big production.
Please keep making great music and know that you are bringing music joy to a lot of rabid fans ! I write this because I love music and the joy it brings and I would love if every rock fan discovers Big Wreck. If you are a fan call your local radio station and request Big Wreck, write their management company (off their website) and ask for a local concert !... Cheers.

I had the biggest crush on Ian Thornley after I discovered this band when I was about 13. I was visiting my family in Canada and randomly I found their CD at a music store in Kelowna and fell in love with this song. Also an amazing memory I have of my beloved uncle who passed in 2012 as we went there together after a big snow storm.

So many great parts in this song, and they all fit together so well...damn, that's what I call songwriting.

"The Oaf" and "Inhale" were the first two Big Wreck songs I ever heard, way back when.. 2001? That was it, and only recently did I discover they were more than that (sheesh). Now jumped to one of m all-time favorite groups... right at the top at the moment. Can't stop listening.
@IanT, please take good care of yourself... we need you around for a long time.

Here in 2022, their new stuff 7.1, 7.2 is absolute gold. My new favorites, the house, found my place, fear and cowardice, the list goes on and on .... amazing talent.

Bad Management or bad timing. This should of been on radio rotations throughout both countrys. It's without a doubt a missed hit the record companies lost a chance to make money on. Everyone I play this for is like "Woa whos this?"

Im 20 miles from Canada 🇨🇦. We get Canadian alt rock 89x and I dont remember this in the rotation. I called the rock station here and the dj knew the song and loved it. However they kept to a list. WTF? Right

Saw Big Wreck in 98 when they opened for Dream Theater in Portland, Oregon. In Loving Memory had been released prior to the show and I bought a copy after I heard their set. I've been a fan ever since. Great sound, love it!
