Due to the size of the ship, it would not be able to sail under Tower Bridge and moor alongside HMS Belfast. Greenwich is therefore as near to Central London that a ship of this size is able to berth.
@@ThamesShips Why do we even have massive polluting cruise ships in Greenwich, or anywhere in London, anyway? As if pollution from traffic from the Blackwall tunnel and City Airport isn't bad enough.

The question is; why?
