The composer, Turina, is said to have been called a Spanish landscape painter of sound.
'Fandanguillo' is based on folk music from Andalusia, Spain, and filled with a tropical, fantasy-like atmosphere. I would be happy if you listen to it and think, "it sounds like Spain, even though I don't know it." (Hiroshi Onose)
作曲者のトゥリーナは、「音によるスペインの風景画家」といわれたそうです。「ファンダンギーリョ」は、スペインのアンダルシア地方の民族音楽を基にしていて、南国情緒にあふれたファンタジーのような趣に包まれた曲です。聴いていただいて、「なんやスペインみたいやなあ、知らんけど」と思っていただければ、とても嬉しいです。（小野瀬博司）
