    The established brands should include turn signals, and horns on all their ATV's and UTV's, like CF Moto already does. Many municipalities allow them to ride paved roads legally now, and some trail systems are very comprehensive with road signs and intersections, turn signals would come in handy there. I'm impressed with the features included on this ATV, and it's nice looking. It's totally ready for a week long trip in the bush right out of the box. Apparently it has a 30 liter gas tank, that would be beneficial for the type of trips I do.

    Hi AJ, I did check it out and I bought the 1000 CForce Overland. I should say I have been a Polaris Sportsman guy for way over 20 plus years but I'm changing my underwear for ATV's. Why? I can now check/change a belt on the trail without stripping down the body just to access the belt cover. I can see at night like never before. I can play with the shocks till the cows come home, and I can pull a trailer on my 2 inch hitch with lights and signals and brakes all lit up on my way to lost lake. Oh, did I mention now I finally have all four wheel disc brakes, a 3500 lb winch, sorry AJ, but that's what it has, and some real decent radial tires on beadlocks that came stock so I didn't need to replace them before I took it out. Unfortunately my horn isn't loud enough to tell people I'm wanting to pass but I can signal the next turn. It's full of Can Am technology and Polaris too. Did I mention a five year warranty? Hang on, I have a call coming in on my Bluetooth dash notification. One last question: Where do all the Can Am and Polaris parts come from? Time to order some Chinese takeout. Sorry, couldn't help myself after reading all the "interesting" feedback you have received.
    P.S. I Love my Matrix Assault! Keep up the honest appraisals. You are spot on!

    It is nice to see them trying to come up in product quality like Kia and Hyundai have been doing in the car market. I'm not quite sure that it would steer me from any of the typical Japanese machines I would be looking at but I can see some serious effort that will start to push more and more people in that direction.

    • @dirttraxtv
      @dirttraxtv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree, it's like when Kia and Hyundai went from a "Chinese" brand to widely accepted and highly awarded brands here in North America. I think CF Moto is at that threshold right now.

    • @huntingstill
      @huntingstill 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dirttraxtv One of the big things that the car companies are doing is killer warranties standard, I looked on CF motos website.... it doesn't work well. Their dropdowns on information do not work well. I had to google what their warranty is. What I found was 30-90 days on some parts and a year on others. I would think that if they made it just a straight 2-year manufacture warranty that it might help push them that bit more into the hard-to-pass-up category.

    I'm in the market for an ATV, and the CF Moto appears to be very good value. I dropped in to Minden Rent All today as I know they used to be a CF Moto dealer. They told me they dropped the CF Moto relationship as they just couldn't get parts to repair warranty claims. They went on to say that Balsam, Wedgewood, and Haliburton RPM are talking about dropping CF Moto for the same reason. It would suck to buy one, and then not be able to get warranty work done locally, or have to wait months for replacement parts to arrive. At this point I don't know what 2 Up bike I am going to purchase. Thanks for the video!!!

    • @sullyone8373
      @sullyone8373 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course it seems like a 'very good value', it's Chinese. And is it really a good value if so many warranty claims, that that can't even service. And then there's the after warranty period. Good luck with that.

    I have a Cfmoto 400 with a few issues at around 2000kms. The first issue is that every time I press the throttle the machine kinda skips and jumps, idk what it is, It feels a bit better when I put it in low. once I get up to 10km it feels fine. The second issue is that every once in a while it just decides to cut off and not start for a few hours, it stranded us an hour walk away from camp up north, we went back and got the machine a few hours later and had no issues for the rest of the week...super weird. Ive had a few other issues but they all seem to stem from my dealership not tightening any of the bolts. I had a shock pop off, piece of skid plate break off (bc they didn't bolt it in), better wasn't connected properly at first, my gears won't lock so nobody can roll it away and steal it...Just little things like that. I am pretty hard on the machine, I'm not gonna lie, we have barely had it for over a year and it almost has 2500km on it. Other than that the quad does pretty good, I was towing 1000 pounds of dirt and concrete over and over while building a new fire pit, it did amazing... towed it like a champ. If anyone knows what the issues, are pls help me out.

    We haven't even gotten an 800 yet due to the shortage so I'm looking forward to both of them. I guess they're sticking to their guns and not putting a brake lever on the left side. I move customers machines all day, on and off the loading dock and I never trust a foot brake{from experience} and regulating different throttle responses is tricky when using the right side hand brake. Dragging the left side brake handle takes the worry out of approaching the edge of the dock. Otherwise I can't even find a used one to take home and wring out. Waiting for the full review.

    Just bought one of these yesterday. Unfortunately testing it, I made it around the block twice and the power steering quit so it's back at the shop...before they even had it in the system as sold. My question is I bought it cause you can ride 2 up and it has rear pegs...where is a back seat for it. Can't find one anywhere.

      For sure you can, actually it would be less stress on the rear end as your square set up will use a narrower rear tire. I don't ever recommend using a set of rear tires on the front through, thats a recipe for tie rods and wheel bearings to go. But yeah Square is one of my favourite tire set ups on ATV's and side by sides. I like that they can be rotated because we all know the rears get a little thinner a lot faster :-) ~AJ
