  • In this video you will see how I made an R/C speed car out of an old drone, and how it did when I took it to ROSSA round 1 2024 at Llanbedr airfield!
    You may be surprised!
    There is a sneak preview at the end of a future project!

    Hey Steve, only just got a minute to sit and watch the video. It was great to see some of the development that went into the car.
    Looking forward to seeing what you and Rob come up with. I have an idea of what you might be planning, but im just going to wait to see it at rd3 lol.
    I was blown away by this car. And it was great to see you go faster and faster through the weekend. Cant wait to see what you can do next time.
    See you in September

    Really great to see new concepts tried in speed running. Lots of great control in those drone flight controllers. Maybe some more CFD testing with the body is needed. The shape might create some lift.

    Did you do any major changes to the PID loop, or any of the other quad-centric features in betaflight? (Did you use betaflight?)

    • @steveeng1826
      @steveeng1826  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey, I'm using Inav, I didnt change the PID's at all actually! Just changed the mapping.

    what i wanna know is how to setup flight controller to make motors behave like car ! like i want to do this can you make a tutorial pls lol i want to make one myself i have a fpv drone already with crossfire but i wanna convert it into miniature tank with tracks on it lmao

    • @steveeng1826
      @steveeng1826  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes good idea, I'll do this in a future video. Its fairly simple, just changing the mapping from memory.
