This thing absolutely needs bulletproof glass in it. And I would try and make it look as evil as like a rat rod and if you don't make it like that you should do like a candy green with some gold spoke rims

Paint it as a Partridge Family tribute bus, with a kitchen for cooking on location. and a Mobil shooting stand / bench for all the shooting fun you provide us. Or give it to your grandma for all the cars of hers you wrecked.

What's happening with the build cause I was super interested to see how it turns out. Its been so long since we heard anything it's already a new year.
You will find that the old 20 inch split rims need to be replaced with 19.5 wheels and modern tubeless tires. You may not find any 20 inch tires and tubes to replace your with and getting a shop to mount them on split rims is a thing of the past. A Chevy P30 motorhome chassis may have wheels that will work for you.
I actually think it looks really cool like the color it is, I know it’s faded and pealing but if you repaint it desert sand, like an army color or something similar.
