The Chosen literally converted me. From being one of those stubborn, "science based" agnostic, to becoming a curious, non religious person, to fully believing in Jesus Christ. This show is a masterpiece and everyone in the West should watch. Thank you Jonathan and Thank you God.
The Chosen changed my life as well. Brought God back into it. I’m so very grateful. From the science side of it, check out the documentaries and movies based on Lee Strobel‘s life. It’s a pretty cool journey where he uses science to try and disprove the story of Jesus, but of course, the exact opposite happened. 🙏✝️🙏
Hey telegoe, I know when i first watched it last year.😱my face like whoa!! This show is a RARE gem. Like very different than what Hollywood is doing and other mainstream movies or shows. but yeah the chosen is definitely something. Can’t wait for season 4 though.🤣😵. I'm also Roman Catholic myself who has somehow for some allowed myself to become an inactive one and Jonathan's personal has reminded me for myself just how much my faith is a Roman Catholic does mean to me and I'm reconnecting with it in my Lord Jesus Christ! I always thought Jesus would look like a Hebrew from 2000 years ago and Jonathan fits the image in my mind. All glory to God our Creator and his Son Jesus, our Savior. I am truly blessed to be written in the Book of Life.
Isaiah ch 52 literally gives us the prophesied description of Yeshua and that man does not fit the bill. No man's idolic representation of Him fits the bill.
If you are familiar with the Shroud of Turin, Jonathan Roumie looks a lot more like the historical Jesus than any of the blonde blue eyed " Jesus" in so many other films/ shows.

In the garden, he had to be pointed out to the Roman soldiers who came to arrest him and that's a good clue.
I have watched all "3" seasons of "The Chosen" twice. I think about it all day while I am at work. There has never been anything like this! I want it to go on forever!

I just finished Season 1. I think my wife and I cried at the end of every episode. Of course as a Christian, the portrayal of Jesus life means so much to me, but it's bigger than that. There is so much hatred, sadness, anger, depression and anxiety in the world right now. I am 60 years old, and I never remember it being worse in my lifetime.. It is so easy to get swept up in all the animosity. That has been me. This show re-centered me and restored my desire to be "in" the world but not "of" the world. The peace that has come from that redirection has been a tremendous blessing.
The goosebumps I get from Him calling Mary by name, and the verses he speaks in the first episode of season 1 is the awesome! Even watching it repeatedly, I still get goosebumps! The musical score drives this force too. Well done with The Chosen!
Very literally the best version of Jesus on screen I have seen yet. The Chosen is an amazing show. Even though I know what points they need to hit in the story, which boxes they need to check to tell the story, every time it arrives to one of those in the series, it always feels new and exciting and tense, and essentially unexpected.

It’s more catered to Catholics like myself but it’s still a very useful Christian App. I really enjoy listening to mixed Gregorian Chants in the background when I’m listening to the daily Rosary. Fr. Mike has Bible in a year in there and it’s partitioned nicely. You get way more benefits if you pay for it but the free version is still very nice.
It is crazy how now, when I read my Bible, his face is the one I picture when reading about Jesus! 😅 That has to be an enourmous weight though, knowing that anywhere you go, if you mess up and sin in public, it can be extra scrutinized. 🤔
@@rileydeutsch9418 Oh absolutely he is just an actor who _portrays_ Jesus….Here’s my thought process behind my comment: For example, I would never put a Jesus fish on the back of my car; the reason being, eventually, I will probably accidentally cut a person off because I didn’t see them or something (but perhaps they thought I did it on purpose), and then they might see the fish and be like, “man, Christians are rude and inconsiderate,” resulting in a bad witness for God. Now, given that logic, I just think it would be _a lot_ of pressure and scrutiny to be that actor; it’s like _he_ is a walking Jesus fish, and fairly or not, I could see people expecting too much from him…Also, it would be a lot harder for him to have a “grumpy day,” when he knows that wherever he goes, he risks “being a stumbling block” more easily I imagine. Did that make sense? But please know, I _absolutely_ do not assign any kind of divinity to him. I trust only my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! ✝️😊

This dude is a concrete visualization of what I was thinking of Jesus in an abstracted visualization, and his acting is amazing, I can understand such a weight that is brought when you are acting the most important person in the world.
This production is most definitely a blessing from God, if only for the simple fact that it has contributed to bring many people to come to the faith in Jesus, and bring back many that had strayed from Jesus back to Him. So if this show helps to save people by bringing them to the faith, then it is from God. The portrayal is wonderful because it shows an accurate representation of the Lord, full of love, patience, kindness etc. It really touches your heart. I shed tears every episode because I just become filled with overwhelming emotion watching it. Its very powerful.

I started watching the Chosen because the short clips of the show on TH-cam (starting with the clip of Jesus feeding the 5000) is what lead to me being saved.
A combination of The Bible in a Year, The Chosen and Hallow has brought me closer to my Lord. I feel that these three opportunities are so wonderful for people who are looking to grow in their faith. I am so grateful.
The chosen has helped me in a huge way for real! As I know he’s just an actor but his intentions are real and he’s portrayed Jesus as such a compassionate man that he was! I’m only a season and a half in the show but it’s helped me in my faith, bless this man and the show! ❤🙏
I love the scenes where Jesus tells parables. Jonathan Roumie is getting better n better in acting. He is my favorite Jesus out of all the Jesus movies I have watched. He is warm, humble n compassionate about people. He is the best version of Jesus as a person.

I love the scenes where Jesus tells parables. Jonathan Roumie is getting better n better in acting. He is my favorite Jesus out of all the Jesus movies I have watched. He is warm, humble n compassionate about people. He is the best version of Jesus as a person.
