- I beat the world record in Claw by 34 seconds!
Pappy has finally been dethroned after being far ahead of everyone else for the last half a decade. This run features Battlements EDJ, Docks double EDJ, Shipyards SSJ and the new Superswim trick in level 12. It also has an extremely good Tiger Island using rope glitch, and I also got lucky with Redtail Glitch as well. I am not able to store the glitch before the run like Pappy can, so a lot of my runs will be at a 30 second disadvantage.
This was incredibly close to a sub 40, with a couple of silly mistakes in the run that ended up making the difference. Hopefully sub 40 will happen soon!

Congratulations! Just stumbled upon this after finding the name of this gem of a game. I remember playing the demo as a child and i was the only one in my class to finish with all treasure :D

I don't know why this ancient game is suddenly getting a new wave of attention but as someone who played this game as a kid 17 years ago, this is really cool.
It's always had a small but very active community, hopefully more people start getting into it :D

Amazing run dude! I can't believe how far the run has come since I've ran it. Just the implementation of double EDJ blows my mind. Congrats on the WR!
Oh and, since you're being all crazy implementing all those hit jumps, I don't know if you're aware of the faster Marrow fight by using the EDJ and skipping the cutscene, did a proof of concept couple of years back - th-cam.com/video/gueSuAqAbnA/w-d-xo.html . Hope that can make this insane run even faster!
Thanks! yeah I watched all your claw videos and your PB run a long time ago to learn the speedrun. We found a few new shortcuts since then and In fact there's now an even faster way to kill marrow with an AI glitch (so he doesn't bounce around and whistle so much) and no time on the help page th-cam.com/video/fJUryf1pPOk/w-d-xo.html

Heey, good to see one of the Claw legends :D Ekvadior, we were wondering not too long ago if you happen to know more details about the Red Tail glitch. Simpson for example has problems in storing the glitch properly, like Pappy does, so when he gets it, it's probably by luck.
I was loving the run until you went out of bounds for like a solid minute, lost interest there. Not hating on you, I just personally don't count that as valid in my eyes. I barely can respect the dynamite tricks in general but this walk in the sea thing is pushing it to the extreme xD first time I've seen it done, too. Well, still a great time up until the Undersea Caves so congratulations nonetheless!!!
It is valid, since glitches (which are not the same as cheats) are allowed in this category. They are often quite hard to do as well. If you're not personally interested in this category then fair enough, but the validity of a run is determined by the rules, not your preferences. I am also interested in a glitchless category but could not convince people to make one for this game unfortunately, I did a run with no dynamite jumps anyway th-cam.com/video/Nk9gAvwFd1c/w-d-xo.html
