Just picked up my Road glide Ultra, and yes love the way it cuts the breeze, installed a detach kit and installed a RG special seat when the trunk is off.., looks awesome! Ya CVO was out of reach! John, Excellent video. The 2018 CVO Road Glide is the pinnacle of H-D bikes, in my opinion. I have a 2010 RG and last year put the adjustable shocks on it and this year put on some CVO handlebars I bought on CL. If you're coming to the Laconia Rally this year, look me up. I live right near all the action and we can do some riding. Keep posting the great films. Also, thanks for your service Harrison!

I rented a Road Glide in the bay area. They didnt have it at the lat minute so they upgraded me to a Road Glide Ultra my only harley favorite. It was such an amazing bike. First experience with a big bike and the one ive always wanted to buy. Road Glides are fun

didn't care for the shark nose until they came out with the rushmore bikes. saw the new led lights on the front end (BADASS!) and bought one. those lights are the best i have ever had on a bike. RGs "sit down" at about 85 and are smooth as silk up and over a ton...

I do love the CVOs but bought an ‘18 RG in Silver Fortune Shattered Flake so I could spend the difference doing it my way. I’m doing a combo of HD Motor Co. and Defiance

I am also a Vet... second , man we got the same exact gas can at our shop ,, same pump and all,, and i like the road glide but prefer the streetglide for one reason, having that stationary ferring freaks me out for some reason,, dont know why i make a turn and it stays straight lol i get all discombobulated ,, lol im a dumb ass...
I've always kept the rain cover on my filter keeps all the bugs and big stuff out of the filter pleats so it's much easier to clean, mines going on 3 years old now and still looks good but the elastic is starting to fail...... and for fuel my local shop has a 250 gallon fuel barrel just outside their shop's garage door. And the flush fuel cap looks great on it! Been considering them for my Dyna.
My '15 RGU CVO is the best bike I've ever owned. Is it perfect? Not by a long shot. But it's so comfy two up and even great on the twisties. I've got 10gb of MP3's on an SD card, and a Passport to keep me "honest". Cool vid, John. That bike! I love the red and the black, and those heads are the bomb. This bike should come with a detachable tourpak. I only use the intake sock when it's raining - if I remember it! Anyway, those of us who own CVO's are getting tired of the higher and higher prices, especially when stuff continues to go bad on them. I had to replace the rear shocks and the battery on my nickle, and lots of guys are having issues with, well, you know what the problems are John. So not worth the money anymore. I paid 39k for mine and got a colormatched tourpak and a very comfy seat for two. Nevertheless, this thing is just waiting to become a rocket ship for some lucky bachelor/bachelorette? Road Glides rule!
John, I love rad glides use to ride one. Now I ride my softail and Ultra Classic. I can honestly say at first I wasn't crazy about the bat wing faring but I got use to it. As far as not being able to ride as far with a fixed faring vs the bat wing I have to disagree. I think it is more myth than fact. Yes you catch a little more wind with the bat wing but all in all there really isn't a huge difference. I ride up to 400 miles at a time and honestly I don't feel anymore tired.

I'm looking for my first my motorcycle and I was looking for a sports bike and the harley dealership opened my eyes to cruisers. I fell in love with the 2018 fat bob, softail slim s, roadster, street bob, forty eight special and the iron 1200. (I'm 6'5 so there is a limit to what I can fit. Those bikes are all over 10k and I dont want to spend 10k on my first bike. Unfortunately, that eliminated harley. 1200 in south Florida is 13k

I ride a Vision now, so I'm pretty spoiled with the fixed fairing. There really is nothing like it when you are doing miles. I also keep hearing that there is more room in the Road than the Street. I used to hate how the Road Glide looked but since 2018 it's starting look gorgeous. Thinking seriously about getting a 2019 Special. I'm in Switzerland have been told that the Swiss Road Glide Standard and the Special will both have the 114 motor. So wondering now what the advantage of buying a Special instead of a Standard. With that in mind, can I get a Standard and gradually upgrade to a Special?

Anyway you can do the 10-12k used bikes? If you would do a video on that it would be awesome and helpful. Maybe some tips and tricks of things to look for in a used bike.#1 question I have is what is a lot of miles for a used HD. Videos are great keep them coming much appreciated.
