I used to run it the same way and it would catch and throw off my shot . I didn't realize it until my line snapped . After you run it around the roller keep it above the hook . The wraps after use the hook.

The line must run over the roller band and into the line guide at the muzzle to not get stuck :)

This is not the correct way. The line is going all the way to the head again, instead of the notch. Putting it on the notch you are risking braking the line.
