I have been really excited to see this coming to market and it checks almost every box I am looking for in a trailer.... other than price. 😢 I really don't understand how people afford the price point of many of these trailers, especially living in SoCal where home prices start closer to the $1M price range. Really had my hopes up but sadly another trailer outside of reach...

Very well thought-out trailer. Way out of my financial league, of course, but unlike the peanut gallery, I fully understand there IS a market for high-end, super-high-capable off-road rigs like this. THAT is who this is for. Love seeing all the design choices and solutions. And getting that at 2595 pounds is a huge achievement!
But, yes, I do hope you follow this up with a “lite” version - much of this build would appeal to folks minus things like the air suspension, the ecoflow power system, etc. But one thing at a time … :)

It amazes me to see the number of comments about cost and affordability. People really have limited knowledge of what it takes for R&D, product iteration, production readiness, manufacturing and logistics. Not surprised though. There are many overpriced products that are easily justified based on R&D, overhead and unit costs. That doesn't make the resulting price a competitive market price. I'm thinking of how I would use this trailer compared to many trailers costing under half the project price of these, and I honestly can't see hoe this extra $40K+ benefits me while camping. I can just see a new owner sipping their coffee and thinking to themselves "I'm sure glad I invested in covering Mr. Bean's R&D investment".

How about a standard axle or a torsion axel version with standard road height clearance highway tires, and standard ball coupler.
Also I would prefer running water outside in the pullout, the sink inside is ridiculous. I would put a bench across the front that pulls down to a double with a bunk above. Pull out fridge in the front corner. The cabinet then could be moved to the center on the back wall and brought up to the height of the side walls. Just some thoughts, I have other ideas as well.

Not as many as you think epically in the tear / square drop category. In the last 6 years or so with all of these small trailer manufactures popping up, the shift is towards off road, epically with axleless axles on the market for small trailers. The ones you find are typical hwy ones are queen mattress inside cupboards over head and foot. I had one for 6 years loved it, but developed a list for things that could be better, but the family out grew it. I have tried tent trailers, and full-size behemoths, I still want to go back to the small fit in the garage, ready to roll at all times, very little setup camper. the bean squared is one of a kind, for layout that seems to fit all or most of my needs and thoughts on a perfect trailer. I would prefer to spend 20 to 30k less by deleting the overkill battery systems, the off road axels, and the adjustable air ride suspension. And it definitely doesn’t bigger tires and higher ground clearance than my tow vehicle, a full size 1/2 ton 2wd riding on oem sized tires. Which my original camper had 10” ground clearance same truck and only occasionally would I hit the drop receiver because I was using a generic adjustable one with more of a drop then I needed. I wasn’t rock crawling or mud bogging yet I got long ways in the back country, 10 to 15 miles on dirt.
