gustavo pinto yeah, that's probably why they made Alakazam learn punching moves because they were so useful before gen 4 but they're pointless in Gen 4 onward.

Basically Clair's Kingdra trolled Wobbu really hard at the start with two headbutts that flinched, leading to Wobbu being killed by Rhydon. As you can see by the mons Werster has been using he doesn't have much of a means against Rhydon so he was forced to redo the Blackthorn Gym.
Skeeter Mania There are splits at the side that say how well his time is doing. According to the splits, at the end of Pryce he was ahead of his PB by about 3 and a half minutes, but by the end of Clair he was about 7 minutes behind.
If you thought Lance was challenging, think again! He was also hard on Gold/Sliver/Crystal because all of his Pokémon know Hyper Beam and most of them were physical attackers, plus Hyper Beam being a physical move, he was tough. In the remakes he is way easier because of the physical special spilt.
If you pick Totodile and have a level 45-50 Feraligatr Lance is a complete joke in GSC. Headbutt/Return x 2 on Gyarados and Ice Punch will OKHO all but one of the Dragonite's. That's what they do in the Gold speedrun. No x specials even needed
Crunch was NOT Physical move UNTIL Gen 4. Crunch and other Dark type moves are special. Which is why Wobbuffet sucked against Dark types back then before the split.
Stadium 2 is like the trolliest Pokémon game there is. Except for the Japanese Stadium 1 I don't think there is any AI that screws with the RNG this much.
