To mi velmi pomáhá! Děkuju, Zuzko! Prosím, ještě jednou nemůžeš připravit video na small talk? Třeba small talk na Vánocích atd. Je to moc praktický. Děkuju.
You are not only a good teacher but also a very good actress , i wondered how perfect you play the role of the old lady . Dicky moc for your effort to make these interesting videos👍😊
Very cool video!! Snášet is one of the verbs I am currently learning. Such a coincedence! I have been learning Czech for 10 months now and I am still very motivated to keep going. Thank you Zuska!
Nice, I'm glad you found the right phrase to help you practice what you've learned! Keep up the great work. Ať je vaše motivace pořád velká (May your motivation be always big).
to máme dneska hezky = we are having it nicely today !! i prefer such a translation because it makes more sense when looking at the Czech words separately.
Everybody finds helpful something else. When I explain the meaning of the phrase, I also sometimes add the literal translation besides the meaning, but, in my opinion, it would not look good in the subtitles.
Nazdar! Mám otázku: Při pozdravu, proč nepoužíváme 'paní Hruškovo'? Pátý pád s jmenem je příliš formální? A taky můžu říct: 'dobrý den Oluška/paní učitelka/pane doktor' ?
Ne, používáme 5. pád. "Hrušková" je tvar přídavného jména, což znamená, že tvar je v 5. pádě stejný jako v 1. pádě. Stejně tak i slovo "paní" je v 5. padě identické. Kdyby to byl pan Hruška, pak bude rozdíl jasný: "Dobrý den, pane Hruško." Takže když chcete pozdravit Olušku, řekněte: "Dobrý den, Oluško." Nebo "Dobrý den, paní učitelko/ pane doktore."
Takhle se mi to libí tvuy klobouk from the beginning of the video. Čerstvý: high fashion. I also noticed that pomosch is like Russian and Ukrainian. Here I worry about what I prefer to do which is learn bits of languages. Také, takhle nápad cuketa placiçky. Zmrazit a dobrē uchovat.
@@CzechbyZuzka I’m still trying to decide. I grew up with International events taking place a lot. I think that following a language lesson and taking a minute is like what they say of looking for mushrooms. They say keeps the mind sharp just to go over taxonomy of the mushrooms and to pay attention to the details and the small differences.
Yes, it's a part of the informal expression: Ve _svém věku_ is proper (formal) Czech and _svým_ is a colloquial form (typical for common Czech). In the dialogue, there are more examples of common Czech, for example: _JakÝ_ (proper Czech is jaké) _jsem koupila pěknÝ cukety, mlaďounkÝ._
Could you make a Czech flirting video? "Vypadáš jako kočička" seems to be quite ineffective. Would "ty mas hezky oči" be more reasonable to use with Czech Speakers? Thanks.
Honestly, calling someone you don't know _kočka/kočička_ is too straightforward and a bit cheap. You can always start by talking to the person about something unrelated (asking for help with a menu, directions, etc.) and if you feel there is a connection, complimenting on the women's smile or eyes doesn't come across as something creepy. Sometimes, being formal sounds better, too: Slečno, máte hezký/krásný oči. Máte pěkný úsměv.

PS .......a diskuse mezi dámami může pokračovat o tom, co vaříme zítra???
Ano, to je taky běžné! "Co budete mít dneska nebo zítra k obědu?" a pak začne diskuze o potravinách v obchodech a slevách nebo výměna receptů.

Díky za komentář! Do you also study languages from different language families or mostly Slavic?

Wondering about this sentence: "To víte, ve svým věku horka špatně snáším." Is svým (not svém) normal there?
