- As promised, I revisited primorb and got a faster run.
My script for this run was to force two consecutive topples using the spider and hellfire to bypass the hp lock that generally occurs after the second phase topple. Unexpectedly, I ended up not using the hfc topple because he immediately entered his third phase after the spider topple, which surprised me a bit and led to that whiff metsu. Thankfully, I flinched him afterward, picked up the wirebug, and got two metsus and falling bashes on his big attack sequence, which is pretty good.
I think the reason why he entered third phase faster than I was expecting was because I had good dog rng; if you look at some parts of the run they were attacking good hitzones like the head and arms dealing a better-than-usual-amount of damage, something that doesn't frequently happen. After getting this I tried to replicate it a few more times but I always had to use hfc to get to third phase.

Also, I used the small crown mod for this run which is why he is very tiny. I forgot to mention that on the hunting horn run, my bad. I think I'll continue to use it in future runs. In case anyone was wondering, here are the relevant mods I use in all my recent (and future) runs:
- lowest legal hp mod
- fix starburst bugs
- fix crown
- guilty gear counter sound (extremely important!!!)
For the tail swing at ~0:55, what would be a good response to that attack had it not flinched?
Nothing really. In phase one this move leads him into doing the wing stab to sweep almost always, which is the move you want him to do cause free metsu. In other phases, he does weird shit and its a general time waste
