His very best recording and a very talented boy from East Texas Clay walker you make us very proud of you thanks for all your hard work and contributions to real country music at its best.i will never forget the night I briefly met you in Buna Texas
This song came out around the time I was going to drivers ed . I felt like I was hauling butt on that Honda spree going to drivers school lol… That intro on the tele 😅..
Some of the best lyrics of any song ever. The Telecaster, pedal steel, and fiddle come together in classic 90’s upbeat style. Stellar song. Tightly played
I wish the guys were still like that. I'm 44. I tell my kid the guys were fine in the 90s. They smelled good, looked good, and were a lot nicer than the guys nowadays
Well this is my favorite song! It’s the one that was going to come out first!! At his first showcase he did the oncor of what’s it to you!! Everyone in the room stood up screaming ‼️‼️It took 12 hours to do the what’s it to you video ‼️‼️
Kathy Treadway I grew up on his music. He's a huge influence to me and one of the reasons why I play guitar and sing Country music. God bless you and your family :)
I met Clay at the GAC(Great American Country) celebrity softball game during Fan Fair in '03 while I was shooting video of both teams. I'd like to contact him, see how he's doing and if he remembers the camera guy he was joking with. Any chance you can assist me with that? dwpackerfan@gmail.com
I love Clay Walker and Sandi Patty. Their voices mean so much to me. They both went through some hard times and personal struggles and both are not perfect. But they know how bring positive messages through their music. Best of all they are humble and gracious people. Thank you Clay and Sandi for your music God Bless.
Neil Tipton ignore that "countrygirl country musiclover" account, it's a troll and will insult you no matter what you say. Btw i agree with you, Clay's the next George Strait even if radio doesn't play him anymore 😆😆
@@countrygirlcountrymusiclov5831 Oh wow, say, you're 24? Sorry, you were born after all of the great country music, so I guess unless you've listened to classic country (50's - 90's), you really don't know the genre that well. Being raised on Conway Twitty, George Jones, George Strait, The Statler Brothers, Alabama, and all the greats of the 90's, you will realize that today's country isn't country. It's pop/rap and sorry to say, basically crap. (Minus Jon Pardi and a few others who keep country traditional.) By the way, "country" turned to pop in the 2000's, I'd say about the time that Taylor Swift broke onto the scene.
country music stopped being country in the late 90's Clay walker and all the real country singers are the last of the Greats in that genre Once 2000 hit , that genre went downhill and became more of POP than country
best guitar intro of any country song...ever
Straight up 90’s country right here!
This is such a great song! Thanks for sharing this video. I love seeing it live. That guitar part at the beginning just makes the song.
