Really Good Memories
Hits the heart 😢
Great song
One of the most unique voices in country music.
I was at this concert back in the 90's. It was filmed at the end of the show in Greenwood, Mississippi. Half of the audience had already left.
Real music
Love him young and old
When country music was country music
Grow up.
I miss you Mama
❤
I had been in Nashville for maybe six months and I was seriously trying to show off!
You guys sure had some great songs, Thanks!
That was a really wonderful day… Tom Roady playing percussion, Mitch Humphries on keyboards and I believe that’s Dave Pomeroy on bass. Peter Kimball put that whole thing together and it was absolutely fabulous!
Yes, super band, that was a memorable show. Thanks, Fred!
Love him always loved his music i listen every night when I'm going to sleep
the difference between this country sound and 90% of what comes out now is that THESE artists could sing and didn't try and have a raspy, over-fluctuating, hiphop voice with a country accent like they settle for today. Marty could hit and then HOLD a note. Singers today have to shake it around because they can't.
What city was Johnny born in.
Love me some John. Great music
Not heard before great song as usual
thats my 2nd cousin mike on drums. 😂 he is my moms 1st cousin. they grew up near each other in alabama. they called him mikey cause momma had a brother named mike also.. i always liked shenandoah even before she told me. i’ve always loved 80’s and early 90’s country and they were one of those bands
Thank you so much for this song ❤❤❤❤
You're welcome, Thanks!
Johnny, great

AWESOME SONG! LOVE LYLE LOVITT❤
I love this song. Plays it everyday
This song truly reveals Naomi's inner torment. She was molested by at least two different men before age 12. That unhealed wound can leave a woman vulnerable to the consequences of bad choices because she is so hungry for love. Before too long, every bad choice feels like yet another rejection and the unanswered question, "Why?" Why don't they love me?" A woman as beautiful as Naomi sees her less attractive friends finding true love and settling down in happy marriages. Yet she herself, with amazing talent, intelligence, a heart of gold, and Hollywood good looks, is repeatedly abandoned. That feeling never leaves and becomes her lifelong battle with bouts of depression, a continuing struggle that she names, "Mr. Pain." Ashley Judd described seeing her mother behaving inappropriately with several men in their home, in front of her children, exhibiting conduct to which a minor should not be exposed. Then floods of guilt and shame for having done what she could not help doing. Naomi reliving her original trauma, "Mr. Pain." Naomi and Larry were "happily married" but "Mr. Pain" never left. That pain is a spiritual wound that only Jesus Christ can heal. It is the pain of "divorce" 10,000 times because every physical union followed by uncoupling is a tearing and separation of the flesh, soul, and spirit. "Mr Pain" affects both men and women as Phil Everly sings in "Last Thing on My Mind." th-cam.com/video/O32XTdv-0p4/w-d-xo.html Jesus Christ is the only healer.
I'd love to see a Hi Def (re-mastered) version of this. I bet in a few years, we'll be able to just upload a video like this & have it re-done in a matter of seconds. I hope so!
Baby Wynonna 😙
