Forgiveness is so hard
It is but there is difference between forgiveness but not pretending something wrong happened, it is a tricky place but praying unceasingly will bring you out of the weeds. That is how I have gotten out of the mire
For me the hard part is accepting the loss, forgiveness doesn't undo what happened.
Forgiveness is never instant, it takes time and it reveals more about you than the people you are called to forgive. To truly Love is as hard.
It's not that hard but I can tell u once u truly forgive u will feel so much better and remember the most important thing is that if u do not forgive then u will not be forgiven and u don't want that in the end
Forgiveness takes 3 days

Forgiveness is an incredible, beautiful gift for ourselves. If the other person benefits, that’s great. But it frees us from carrying the weight of anger and resentment; it brings us into God’s light and sets us free.

forgiveness is process. You have to keeping forgiving each time the hurt comes back until it hurts no more and you have forgiven.and let go. This might take years.

Forgiveness I definitely healing. I have ptsd from two seperate sexual assault. Men broke into my bedroom while I slept on two occasions, twenty years ago. Men I didn’t even know.
I am working through this now as they have only just really come back to mind. In prayer with a friend I had an image in my
Mind of Jesus taking me by the hand and leading me out of that room. He made another door to leave from. As we walked out we stopped and He turned me round. The man that had done this to me was so so small and so ashamed. His head bowed. In that moment I started crying but it was for the man. I let everything go and in that moment I saw his shame and I felt mercy for him. Jesus let me see that and I believe that forgiveness and mercy was a supernatural gift as a huge burden of fear and emotions lifted off and I was praying out loud for this man’s salvation that he would walk in repentance and no longer feel shame. That forgiveness was my gift from Jesus. He said I’m taking you out but look at this we are not running we are getting a better vantage point of this old situation.
After I declared my forgiveness the image of the room faded until I could no longer see it
