    I am sorry to say that but there are many more things u can retrofit into your car ;) Apart from that, your videos are AWESOME. You should be proud of yourself for doing them. While doing the CC, remember to include the green indication light in the cluster panel. Also, first thing from head, you can retrofit an AUC sensor into the climatronic ;)
    Have you ever considered trying to program the fifth button on MFSW to work ? I mean the one with the talking head. It would be perfect to make it change the MODE in the radio - you click it and it changes from FM to CD. It is probably near impossible to do since it would have to involve some IBUS encrypter, but maybe ?

      Hi!
      Thanks for your kind comment, appreciated. There is not much left to be retrofitted indeed, I'm nearing the full catalog of equipments. Some of the remaining missing options/features are sometimes also not worth the work, if you know what I mean. Just like the AUC, def a nice feature for the 90' but I'm most of the time driving with the windows open to enjoy the S50 sound. But yes, for the sake of the real 'full options', if I find some spare time, why not!
      That would be a nice feature indeed, but like you said, difficult to achieve. :/ I have an E9X USB/AUX switch in my center console, paired with a USB/AUX/Bluetooth interface connected to my CD43 radio. At the moment via the steering, I can pick-up/reject phone calls from the steering, and also navigate through the songs stored on the USB/Aux device/Smartphone. I'm already more than pleased with this. :)

      @@mrnoname35 I'm just saying it is a bold sentence to say you got fully equipped e36 :) I own 328i, been retrofiting it for 3 years now and I know a thing or two about it. But I have to say, your car looks really great and your videos are awesome.
      Another small detail - do you have adjustable lumbar support? ;)

    • @mrnoname35
      @mrnoname35  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!
      Thanks for your kind comment, appreciated. The procedure will be the same, however the multifunction blocks used in this DIY will only fit the original M3 E36 3,2 steering wheel.
      We usually use the popular CD43 radio with this mod, since it responds to the multifunction blocks, and you can install a USB/AUX/Bluetooth interface with it.
      I know that the older C33/C43 does not respond to a multifunction steering wheel, but I'm unfortunately not sure about your current radio (CD23).

    hello again , my x322 with yellow cable is wired on both sides , I think it is for cd changer box , so I don't have a cd changer box , should I disconnect that yellow wire and connect the new one for it to go form x322 to slip ring ?

    • @mrnoname35
      @mrnoname35  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi!
      It has nothing to do with the CD changer, this part is not wired like this.
      It's strange because there should not be any wire in this place. I would suggest to check where this wire is connected before removing it.

    • @mrnoname35

      Hi! It doesn't exist, it's 100% custom made with C63 AMG paddles. It's only interessting if you have an M3 with SMG gearbox, it doesn't work with regular automatics.

      Hi!
      In the wiring box near the footwell, if you look closely you will find two different comb connectors, they both have Violet/White cables. There will for sure be one empty slot in one of these two. If not, simply splice/solder on one of these cables, the result will be the same.

On one side of the x322 plug the yellow wire goes to radio and the other yellow goes all the way to the trunk.
