Killer lesson! guitarists take note and tune down a 1/2 step and transcribe every note, this will allow you to utilize your open E and A sting.

I've been playing a E diminished passing chord all these years... (2nd verse part)
Nice! You have to do a cover of this. Best of the Summer of '85. I learned the intro some time ago. But then it gets complicated. Not sure if it's correct but I found it easier to add E flat with the right hand to pivot between the two chords.

Awesome tutorial man. Definitely just gained a new sub 🙌🏼. I have a quick question though. I’m a newbie so bear with me... in the recording at 3:25 it sounds like the bass and guitar do a really beautiful transition between chords. Can you recommend a good way to phrase this on piano?

I am a sort of beginner on the piano and I’m familiar with the keyboard and I know all of the notes on the keyboard but I’m tryna to just learn how to actually play fluently. I also study theory but What do you recommend for some practice for myself? When actually sitting at the piano?
