"Through the test of tiiiiiiiime"!!! I remember how those 6 chords blew my 16 year-old mind. I kept rewinding the tape on my Sony walkman (!) so I could hear them again. Decades later, you've just taught me to play them. Thank you, Piano Tutorial Man! Ursula, Brighton, UK.
This song was just on the radio and I thought to myself "I should learn to play this." Get home, open up TH-cam to watch something and Bam! There it is in my suggestions. Wow!
You are just the best! I love the songs you choose, how you teach them, your playing and your wonderful personality...such a great guy! You are one cool cat! So glad we got jazzy wonderful human beings like you on this planet.

Richard, this time around I got it. completely.. perfect instruction... it now sticks ... it only worked for me when both inspiring instrument met the will to combine theory knowledge, muscle memory and ... feel.. thanks so much again for that effort you put into the tutorial!
Nice! You have to do a cover of this. Best of the Summer of '85. I learned the intro some time ago. But then it gets complicated. Not sure if it's correct but I found it easier to add E flat with the right hand to pivot between the two chords.
Awesome tutorial man. Definitely just gained a new sub 🙌🏼. I have a quick question though. I’m a newbie so bear with me... in the recording at 3:25 it sounds like the bass and guitar do a really beautiful transition between chords. Can you recommend a good way to phrase this on piano?
Hey man? How you doing? I love the way you play, and your videos. You’re extremely talented. I am a sort of beginner on the piano and I’m familiar with the keyboard and I know all of the notes on the keyboard but I’m tryna to just learn how to actually play fluently. I also study theory but What do you recommend for some practice for myself? When actually sitting at the piano?
I look in your eyes and I can see We've loved so dangerously You're not trusting your heart to anyone You tell me you're gonna play it smart We're through before we start But I believe that we've only just begun When it's this good, there's no saying no I want you so, I'm ready to go Through the fire To the limit, to the wall For a chance to be with you I'd gladly risk it all Through the fire Through whatever, come what may For a chance at loving you I'd take it all the way Right down to the wire Even through the fire I know you're afraid of what you feel You still need time to heal And I can help if you'll only let me try You touch me and something in me knew What I could have with you Well I'm not ready to kiss that dream goodbye When it's this sweet, there's no…
hey Jaz, could you possibly do a tutorial of Maxwell - Matrimony: Maybe You? Really trying to figure out the chords but struggling haha. Keep the good work💪🏻

What a beautiful voice and amazing playing 🎹
Killer lesson! guitarists take note and tune down a 1/2 step and transcribe every note, this will allow you to utilize your open E and A sting.

I look in your eyes and I can see
We've loved so dangerously
You're not trusting your heart to anyone
You tell me you're gonna play it smart
We're through before we start
But I believe that we've only just begun
When it's this good, there's no saying no
I want you so, I'm ready to go
Through the fire
To the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire
I know you're afraid of what you feel
You still need time to heal
And I can help if you'll only let me try
You touch me and something in me knew
What I could have with you
Well I'm not ready to kiss that dream goodbye
When it's this sweet, there's no…
U da best !!!
