The main cincern of a starter is a budget especially for students. The best thing about windows is you have a huge option from budget segment to high end , And i agree 10 years before mac was better as it has no crashes wherein windows had , But from 2018 windows is equally good option they have finetuned the OS , Secondly another important advantage is the option upgrade the hardware in future with minimum expenses which automatically increase few years of service which Mac lacks, Windows is not atall stingy when it comes to ports and connection If at all any service is required the Mac emptys the pocket whereas windows will not much. And technlology is for all if somthing new in the market comes it will be for both Windows and Mac (example SSD M.2 Lethion ion battery or anything else ) Moreover of you check the benchmarks there will not much difference between the the two. The mac becomes mandatory if you use mac specfic products.

Hi Arijit. Quick question, how’s the performance of Kontakt on this M1? I have the Komplete Collector’s Edition and those libraries take lots of Memory. I am still on Intel Mac with 64 GB RAM. I I was considering getting a M1 MacBook Pro. Please let me know your thoughts thank you brother.
