After you key up to calibrate and switch back to SWR, you need to key your mic while in SWR mode to get your SWR reading. You didn't do that. Just flipping the switch doesn't give you a reading, you must key the mic.
@@texastrashhauler7926 mines sure flex a lot I did the whole install my self never really had any issues with it. It holds up pretty well and it’s very sturdy 🤷♂️ they say the fire stick is more stronger and not as flexing

Does your 7ft antenna get alot of flex when driving? I want to install a 7ft antenna but ive heard they break easy when going down the road

@RunningOTR maybe try getting a couple of feet of PVC pipe and sliding it over the antenna so it doesn't flex as much
