- Finally the C5 Corvette reveal that about 9 people I beg to watch my flailing channel have been waiting for! This one owner, 2004 C5 corvette 6 speed manual with 83,000 miles was initially for sale for $18,500 then $16,500 then $12,500 and I bought it for $12,000. It has a new clutch, new high dollar Michelin Pilot Sport Run Flat tires, a new ac compressor and it looks great inside and out. The week after I bought it my friend told me that his neighbor just sold a silver corvette that had been babied over the years. Turns out it was this one- always garaged and serviced. I really wasn't looking for a toy at all but it seemed to good pass up. I think I'm going to have fun with it. First issues are the headlights- I really like this video on the sharp light innovations lights as well as the Drive Hub youtube video on them.
• Sharp light innovation...
Just last week I found out the driver side temp door actuator has stopped working so the dash must come out. The dealer (bought and serviced since new) gave a quote of $2,600 to fix both sides. I'm thinking of tackling it myself over the winter. What do you think?

It's beautiful! I want one!
I'm extending VIP access to the Valparaiso Corvette Club even before you buy one!
I wish I could find a nice C5 for that price. I've had 2 of them, been looking for another one for years now. My favorite generation! Beautiful car man. Spiral Grey Metallic is a great color, and I wouldn't have anything but a 6 speed manual!
Thanks! I'm excited about it. Going to do a full detail soon.
12k looks like a good price. They were delusional with the 18.5 though lol
Exactly! That's why I was like hey, someone may want to pay 18,500 but that was too steep for me.
@@vivasevilla3 its a 2004 manual. ofc its going to be on the pricey side.
I was at the right place at the right time.
How much room do you have in there? Can it fit a tall person?
@@edwindavis305 great question, I’m a skinny 6’3” and have plenty of leg room. As a matter of fact, I don’t have the seat all the way back whilst driving.
