Because people understand another person's right to be happy and give them privacy. Famous people just want to be treated like normal people after all. He had his time in the spotlight and you could see he was happy he was recognized being there.

There is no other than Steve Perry, at any age and any stage!!!! He may be imitated, but that's about it. Young people think it's a hoot to see and hear me rockin' with Steve and Journey while driving in my car, a 61 year old groupie!!! Had a young biker pull up beside me in traffic and he had on the same Journey song as I did...reassures me that the young know good music when they hear it!!! Steve's voice and songs take me back to some really good times in my life...I'm forever yours Steve!!

WOW!!! He still has it! I'm still in high school and we all know Steve Perry is the greatest singer of all times. My sister was raised on Journey videos and would imitate him so well. She is 7 and has every Steve Perry song imaginable on her ipod as I do. He can still get a crowd going! We love you Steve and can't wait to hear what you are working on. As A Journey fan , I truly hope journey gets inducted in the Rock and roll hall of fame in 2017 and hopefully thus will set the stage for Neal Schon and Steve to somehow patch things up and give one last tour with Steve . When first I discovered Steve I was busy having my babies and I didn't get to the concerts. But I am thanking to technology I have got to enjoy all the videos of his concerts and entertainment. I had seen him in pictues in those years And I didn't exactly know him to his band. But I knew that beautiful face and I have held him in my heart forever.
