She often will place the musicians in an order where she can sing at about 1/2 volume while assessing how each is doing to make the performance work. She changes things a lot based upon listening as well as singing. Just brilliant.
Wasn't that stunning? I've heard it hundreds of times and still get chills each time I hear it. Props to Tommy Christiansen on tremolo guitar. He was on fire! Frank Sinatra was "The Voice" of the 20th century. Angelina may be "The Voice" for the rest of eternity!
One of the judges later said they were wondering if she were possibly just a good mimic. I think they were trying to rationalize what they had experienced. But seeing Angelina instructing the guitar player on stage and taking full control when rehearsing made it clear that was not the case at all. So with that last desperate hold on their old reality lost they must have felt totally lost.
I think that thought or wondering blew away from the mind of the judges real fast. Miles away. See what comments Omar gave after the first audition, as Angelina had left the stage: "That`s not something she could be thaught, she just had it. She was born with it."

Right from the start, young Angelina, 8 years old, has already filled her spirit with the true intent of the song. And it is for her a cover! She looks sad and she will sing using a grave tone to narrate her story. Nancy Sinatra, and Cher for that matter, are in another mood altogether. Watch their videos (1966) and see the difference. The little girl sing the song "in the spirit" and conveys the emotional charge of the memories, while the adults, it seems to me, stay in their comfortable zone, head voices, to entertain their audience.
She always seemed to understand the meanings behind these songs. That's what struck me about her first. She's a little girl of 7-8 and should not possibly have even heard these songs, let alone understand them and PERFORM them. You could tell she was much more than just a little girl who can carry a tune. Not only does she nopt sing typical songs, she doesn't sing any that emphasize her power or her vast range. They all focussed on her voice and her delivery. It was a thrill to watch

This awesome semi-final performance took place on April 11, 2014 so Angelina was 8 year 3 months old. Angelina's stunningly beautiful, soulful, emotional voice magically rides on top of the fabulous tremolo guitar (kudos to the guitar player). For me, she captures the sad mood of this song far better than any other.
Speaking of "not your typical 8 year old song". I'm not sure if you've seen it, but there is a video out there when Angelina was around 6 at school, and the teacher was trying to get them all to sing. Angelina's mother (or grandmother- whoever was filming it) must have been trying to get Angelina to sing and she gave them this look of, disgust, defiance or whatever, that said "I'm not singing this little kid song". 😂
It was her third perfomance. (The audition "Gloomy Sunday" and the Judges' cut "I'm a fool to want you") The judges were very aware of her capacity at that time, but who will not cry at such a perfomance? And this judge was very aware of the dangers of being a superstar at her age, and in his comment after "Bang bang" said that he would have been scared to death for her if he hadn't already spoken to her family who had ensured him they would protect her and let her live the life of a normal child. - So she is still a superstar in relative hiding until she is ready to cope with the pressure and step forth to the world.
I'd like to repeat a comment I read on another reactor's channel that made me giggle out loud _ bear in mind she was actually 7 years old when she sang this song _ the comment read like this " You were 5 and he was 6 ... well, honey that was couple of years ago now , let it go already " 😅😅

That song was written by Sonny Bono for Cher and tells of an infantile love that Cher had told him about and it's actually nice to see him sing by another little girl, but she is covering Nancy's Sinatra version (but better). Angelina, at 8 years old, sings a slowed down and so emotional version, that the judges and the audience had been kidnapped by her voice. As her teeth grew in the months that have passed between the various performances of NGT, so her confidence with the mike also increased and her voice gained confidence. ❤️ 🤗

She was 8, I can tell by looking at her left tooth. Anyway, this is from 2014 at Norway Got Talent and Angelina turned 9 years old a year later in January 10. 2015. This performance took her to the final show I believe.

Even though this was the semifinals, The Judges, the Contestants, and the audiences, both studio and at home all knew the contest was over and they were just going through the motions until she was crowned in the finals (singing "Summertime" the next week.)
After I first heard this, I went back to listen to Nancy Sinatra, and boy what a difference. Angelina kills it. Nancy’s voice is flat, unemotional, no vibrato, and just matter of fact, with zero textures or colors. Angelinas is so so so much better.

She is 7 years old. She won Norway’s got talent at seven. She even states this to the judges on AGG Champions. This is one of her performances from Norway’s Got Talent.
She auditioned at 7, but the competition lasted 6 months & she had turned 8 for the last 3 performances. When she said on AGT-Champions 2 that she won at 7, it was a mistake. As far as I'm concerned, when she sang Gloomy Sunday at 7 & went viral with 5 million views shortly after, she had essentially won. The last 3 performances were just icing on the cake!
Think for yourself. Think of an event in your life almost half your lifetime ago. If anybody asked you how old you was when this happened, would you be able to give the correct answer without calculating?

I think the judge knows exactly what is going on, but his facial expression indicates he is emotionally overwhelmed - but of course we all struggle to comprehend how an 8 year old girl can sing this cover better than Nancy Sinatra (not that I don't like her version as well). If you asked that person how old he/she was at a special occation that had taken place ab. 20 years earlier, and there were no forewarning of the question and the answer had to be delivered promptly, how probable will it be that the answer is correct? Remember that she at the AGT had almost doubled her age from the NGT. - So that was a long time ago ... And during the NGT she was asked twice about her age, in the interview before the first audition and on her entering the stage, and then she was 7. This may have stepped forward in her mind, and there was no time to calculate on the stage of the AGT. No wonder she missed her age with a year.

A young girl and a boy are playing riding horses and shooting at each other. The boy will win every time: "I shot you! Bang! Bang!" They grow up and is married, but perhaps the "just for me the church bells rang" indicates that he didn't take the marriage seriously. So he leaves her brokenhearted "He never even said goodbye". Her hurts are like having been shot again. This is all about a man letting her partner down, about betrayal and deception, about playing with/loving someone who wants to follow his own conciderations and not being able to giving love back. In short: Unanswered love.
With this song you can really only lose. One should expect something between boring and disaster. You can't show how great you are belting, or hitting heavy notes, or complicated runs, or a wide pitch range. Not a good choice for a contest. Actually. With this song you can really only lose. One should expect something between boring and disaster.
