I have a suggestion: keep your videos to under 20 minutes ( when you react to a song), because many viewers will find you only if you show up on their YT feed. Many, like myself however, will use the YT search engine to find certain artists, and reactions to them, with the use of the filters that YT provides. My filter choices include videos between 4 and 20 minutes long. That means your videos will never show up in my search results. When I find you it's because you show up in my feed (I only watch Angelina reactions). I can't be alone in using the YT search function and setting the time limits as I wrote above. So I think you lose potential viewers when you exceed 20 minutes. Just sayin'.

A lot of angels have this as their top NGT performance, but, for me, the next song, "Summertime" is extraordinary. You will see growth, development, and/or change in her sublimely beautiful presentation. We all have cried at a number of Angelina's songs

Saw you getting emotional there at the end. Know the feeling all too well! Sometimes it's thinking about her brilliance but seeing her humility and grace. Other times it's the sheer beauty of the music. Still other times it's her uncanny ability to convey the story and emotions of the song, often in a way that just didn't happen when others sang the exact same lyrics. But always - they're tears of joy for this gifted soul.
Indeed, her voice is an entire therapy in itself.

One commentor awhile ago said they wished they could sing like DIMASH. And I replied respectfully, "No you don't!" Because of the huge responsibility and commitment it takes to maintain and develop a public and private persona along with the amount of time and energy to work at the craft.
Same for AJ. Especially as a child, young girl and now young lady. The American music industry is filled with voracious WOLVES. They gobble up artists and spit them out.
But AJ's family appears to be supportive and protective while managing her exposure and career commitments.
I still can't mentally absorb her ability to express such complex musical scores and interpret lyrics like a 40 year old, burnt out, lounge singer.

I'm no professional, but I've noticed Angelina has complete control of her vibrato. Depending on her needs, she can make it fast or slow, wide or narrow, breathy or clear, and even unique with a microsecond break between each modulation.
Yes, I call it variable speed vibrato, like she used on the word "care" at the end of "I put a spell on you". But, as you pointed out, it's more than that.
This is like when a special entourage comes to tell you your child is the next Dali Lama and you realize this is your calling. Everything she’s done is so out of the ordinary, that we see, its hard to fathom what it must feel like learning to accept your own power in the world. And here we stand with baited breath for the next incarnation as she continues to mature, explore, and experiment with her instrument
The other contestants knew it was over for them at this point ! The one thing they can all say is .....we lost to a superstar !

Indeed as Angelina herself acknowledged in her recent documentary that it is Vitaly important that she has the unwavering support and love of her family and her Angels. As long as she has that, Angelina will without a doubt be remembered as one of the greatest vocalist in musical history. ❤❤❤❤❤

In my opinion, as just a music fan, this song can't be sung any better than this version by 8 year old Angelina. Even Angelina in more recent versions, doesn't capture the sad emotion as well.

From what I’ve heard the judges saw her talking with the guitarist and telling him exactly how she wanted it played-Angelina in Boss mode at 8-that is when they knew she was for real!
Recommend What A Difference A Day Makes after NGT! This was just a month after winning NGT and performed at Sing Along At The Border, which Angelina has appeared numerous times!

As an Angel myself (7+ yrs) I'm almost jealous of you for what you are going through now. Also, you have nothing to apologize for. You are making amazing contributions to our own experiences in reliving these performances from Angelina. BTW, did you notice during this performance, her connection to the guitar player? You will also see that in her next performance, with the accompanying trumpet player. There are also videos showing her in rehearsals for these performances where you can see that she is very clear about what she wants. In reference to her family, you will eventually react to one of her original songs, "Shield" (age 12) which shows she is fully aware of how protected she is and how blessed she is for having such a family.

I think that the judge, Omar Batti, said later: We didn't know if it was talent or a girl cleverly mimicing Billy Holliday until this song. It was when Angelina told the guitarist how she wanted him to play this song they really understood that there were something else about her. (Not exactly his words, but as I remember it).
My fav is the 4th, final (SUMMERTIME), but you can't go wrong with any of them;) Really you can't go wrong for the next 10 years! I don't think many would complain if your Angelina reactions were 2 hours! lol

She has still a little difficulty with the language at this point so in the moment she might remember the word to be life instead. Yes, Angelina very often gives you your favorite version of iconic songs. She has the ability, as you’ll see more and more, to express melancholy better than any singer I’ve ever heard. She also has the ability, even at this age, to capture your attention from the first note and just mesmerize you with her authenticity for so many genres.
You’re now getting Angelina, not a channeling of Billie or anyone else. Her arrangement, her subtle riffs and slides, her incredible lower register, her immaculate timing, her ability to make you feel-not just hear- the lyrics. Hard to believe a child can be one of the best interpreters of lyrics you’ll ever hear, but you really haven’t seen nuthin yet.

I think all reactions are subjective, that is an interaction between the reactor and the performer. As such they say as much about the reactor as the performer. Sometimes it is like watching someone play poker. Othertimes reactors share much and open our eyes to aspects of the performer that we may have missed in our own perception. When listening to Angelina, tissues are always needed. Her voice is so calming, it gets into you and wraps around your soul like a warm blanket in winter and it can get overwhelming. To go with your character of Angelina, on her dedication and commitment, she has done quite a few charity performances; she's always ended up having a cold or sore throat. Each time they tell her she can cancel, but she never does. She fights through it and you can hear it in her voice the way it cracks or strains.
I truly enjoy your reactions because you allow your feelings to show, you allow us to experience the impact of her voice. I am sure you always hear this, that Angelina touches emotions in a way that the originals cannot evoke.
Aaron, her love is so genuine our heart has never experienced feeling anything like this before in our lives. Over exaggeration? No, not at all. She touches us deeply and her voice is her instrument to make it all come together. Goosebumps, tearing up with urge to cry and finding it difficult to speak normally during or right after she sings for us are the indications our heart is sending messages to the rest of our body about how special she is. People who enjoy listening to music have become mesmerized not only by her voice but by 'who she is' and have adopted her as part of their family. Sister, daughter, grand daughter, great grand daughter and, yes, great, great grand daughter, all of them are spread all over the world. Yes, Sara was overcome with emotion because she knew what was about to happen. Aaron, she is now 18 and closer to her mother than ever before and her unyielding love is shared with everyone in her life, particularly grandma Mery, sister Juliette and uncle Michael. Many of us who have been 'around the block a few times' have seen the world around us change and realize it is time for the new generation to start pushing all the buttons, passing the baton, if you will. But, since we have discovered Angelina and our love for her is so astounding she has given us purpose in our lives, to not only enjoy listening to her sing but to watch her influence people with her love and everyone of us do what we can to introduce her to those who have yet to come aboard. Aaron, she has touched millions of people and she has no boundaries: Gender, age, color, language, religion, occupation, wealth, musical preference have all joined the global family she is responsible for and is it a stretch to say there will be a time, sooner than later, when everyone in the world will know who Angelina Jordan is? We're talking about hundreds of million people and although we cherish listening to her sing classics from yesteryear, her music will take center stage and every song will have a message of love with the goal of bringing people together because she understands for us to make the world a better place to live for everyone we must begin to love one another.

Welcome for the third time to the angels. All of us have shed tears at different times for Angelina and her performances, And not only her music, but for who she is as a person, so humble and compassionate.
The judges comment about her family was more important than you know. Her family has protected her and has been her shield throughout her career. At age 12 she performed her original song Shield, which is about that very topic and her appreciation of her family protecting her. After her appearance on AGT when she was 13 and 14, she received multiple record deal offers, but her family had decided to protect her from the industry and let her be a normal child, at least until she graduated school. She is beginning to be promoted a bit but still is going it slowly which I believe has kept her stable and well-balanced. It's frustrating for the angels, but it's a beautiful thing for Angelina. What a toughtful reaction, Aron...I think Angelina deserves this kind of reaction for being so dedicated to her efforts to surpass herself with each performance, in terms of her vocal technique and her unique way of channeling the message of the lyrics in such an artistic and emotional way. We are almost unable to imagine how much she dedicates herself, at home, to singing in this way that impresses us so much in each song she performs.
You will hear a new effect she creates with her voice (If you can catch it) not until 13, so listen for it! The real stuff is coming!

This was the first performance I saw of Angelina and I was absolutely stunned by her understanding of the music. It's a very simple song, as you said, but the soul and simplicity she put into it simply blew me away. Like you, I found her subtle intensity absolutely unbelievable. Wait until you get to the next one. Angelina has held me spellbound for 7 years, now. Indeed, she changed the lyrics, but it doesn't matter at all. This is a spectacular performance. So adorable! I first watched her perform at AGT in front of Simon and was shocked! She was 6 years older than here! I started then(5 years ago) to listening to reactors because of her. This way I also discovered Dimash Morissette and Diana Ankudinova. Even though I am a Dear, I think Dimash didn’t sing so well at this short age! And singing jazz! Another old soul packed into a little girl! And she is also so humble. Her story of why she doesn’t wear shoes while performing, (I think she does now), the facts that she was the youngest girl in Norway to write a book … she is one of those persons that appears once in a life time! Hi A Ron, The reason she didn't say he didn't take the time to lie is because She don't like negative words. She said he didn't take the time to try ? Genius. She's pure goodness and remove's non positive words . She did that in some Adele song's. in her AGT performance at 13 she removed the part of Freddie's song about the gun and pulling the trigger .
Another thing about her singing covers is you also have to remember English is her 3rd language and you will hear some words that don't translate ,, and she is 8. She started singing in English at age 6 in the studio while still speaking in Norwegian

Of course. that's the George Strange guitar arrangement that he accompanied Nancy Sinatra with. It "Killed Bill," and it kills me. Angelina adds her own twists and slides that Nancy didn't do.

I have to say the final song on NGT, Summer time, goes to another level. She hits a note that takes you to heavenly bliss for a moment.
But my favorite version of Summer Time is at 10 years old at a charity event. As far as Bang Bang, she performed this at 16 when she went back to Norway where she sang and played guitar, but more recently in Vegas, she performed this once again only with her entire band. You will enjoy her journey for sure!

I think her best performance during this competition was doing, 'Summertime', then go to her at 8 at an outdoor festival doing Dinah Washington's 'What A Difference A Day Makes', then at t0 she does 2 performances(Same Outdoor festival several years later) and in a stage performance with an orchestra with strings and brass section) of 'Feelin' Good' done last by Michael Buble'?
