Cucumber and aloe are two of my fav to add to my soaps. My absolute fav is cucumber, aloe and coconut milk soap. I don’t remove the skin neither, but because my blender I don’t get any speckles. Your soap is so beautiful 🤩

💕 I use 40% of the water as cucumber puree and it turns out wonderful. I actually have a customer that orders a custom loaf of this twice a year. It's her favorite soap, even uses it as a solid shampoo.
That’s awesome to hear! I have done 50% with mangoes and it came out nice, sometimes, some purres will mold so just make sure to kind of test your products. It sounds like you have it going good for yourself though 😉

Is it normal when including the cucumber skin for the soap to have an exfoliating texture?
Yes, if you have leave the skin on it will have light exfoliation. You can always peel the skin off the cucumber and you won’t have green speckles and it won’t have an exfoliate.

We can’t really make any claims but it’s thought to hydrate and refresh the skin giving it a nice glow

Does the soap smell like cucumber after curing?
The soap will only smell like whatever Fragrance oil or Essential oils you put in the soap. No fragrance comes through from the purée alone.

Yes, I used 3oz cucumber then added water to a total of 12oz of water and cucumber combined on the scale. So 9 Oz of water.
Why continue adding the skin of it looks horrible
I am sorry you feel that way. I like the way it looks and it also gives the soap a light exfoliating texture
