    • @SoapSchoolUK
      @SoapSchoolUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you juice the puree enough? You need no lumps at all ideally

    • @chenoawhite0713
      @chenoawhite0713 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was completelysmooth when I oured it. The only parts that turned brown were the skin flecks of the cucumber. I'm going to give it another try and peel the cuc this time.

      Were the brown spots big ones or just around the tiny bits of peel? The reason I ask is because if they were around only the tiny bits of peel, that was perfectly fine. However, if the spots were just vague and smelled badly, those were DOS, or Dreaded Orange Spots, and a sign that something either came into contact with your soap if it was only one spot, or that one or more of your oils may have been rancid, if there were more spots on more than one soap and they were not small.
      I hope this helped even though it's a late response.

    May I suggest that instead of planing your soap to remove the ash that's formed, you could simply wipe it off with a damp cloth or even wash the soap! It'll be shiny and clean straightaway!
