Just found your channel after considering travelling to this hotel next year, such a great video with loads of awesome advice and thoughts 👍🏻✨ bit concerned about the air con situation 😬 we love a super cool room after a day of heat!!
Thank you, this is very useful and informative. We are considering going to the Makadi Gardens and it's great you outlined so many details this will help in our decisions. One question... we have heard that taking our prescribed medication into the country may be a problem and have heard scary stories. Do you have any information on this please?
I’m so glad you found it helpful! Thank you so much for commenting 🖤 unfortunately I don’t have any experience taking medication into the country! We did get some meds when over there, you can buy prescription medication over the counter though, I got antibiotics from a pharmacy just around the corner from the hotel with no problem. But sorry, I don’t know about taking any in!
Thank you for your reply. Perhaps our tour rep will know specific deals on certain meds. It's good to know you can buy prescription meds if you need to. Your review has been so helpful. Many thanks 💕
With regards to the food, did they have chips in the evening? Hubby is very fussy and will only eat plain food. Chicken beef chips rice basic salad. Thanks
I’m quite similar to your husband with that, and I actually really struggled with it. All the foods were in sauces, marinades etc. so I think I ended up having chips and bread for the majority of the nights. I do think the food was one thing they could improve. Hope this helps, message me on Instagram if you want to chat about it more!
Sorry, just to clarify. I mean the food in general, not just because all were in sauces and they should be all plain 😂 My partner had all the foods and still said it could be improved, the meats were always quite dry, and food sometimes tasted like it had been sitting a while. The chips were lovely though! 😅
I have a question and im curious. I visit the Makadi Gardens in a few weeks and want to know if youre allowed to use the pool from the Jaz Makadina? Since you need to walk through the hotel to get to the beach it would be nice to use it
I'm not entirely sure, I remember there being small amount of steps in quite a few places though. It should be on the TUI website for this hotel though, so sorry I'm not of more use!
We’ve stayed at this hotel twice and both times it’s been excellent. Everything about it from the staff to the food. Hope you enjoyed your stay too. On a negative point, you constantly slap your leg when you’re speaking. It’s quite distracting 🤣

How good is it for snorkelling? Appreciated
I’m not sure unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to go in the water at the time we were there as there was a shark attack the week before
Wow, that’s a bit hairy 🥹
@gregmunro2121 apparently it’s very rare! But they can’t guarantee anything and I’m pretty sure there hasn’t been another one since!
😂😂😂until I go no doubt 🥹

I assume you wouldn’t be allowed as other people weren’t allowed to use the Makadi pool

the hotel looks so peaceful! Your aesthetic matches Egypt well. Glad you guys had a nice time!
I’m curious why they don’t have sand along the beach?
Grass area finishes and sandy part of the beach starts closer to the water.
@@pentop100 Thanks
