My favorite moment of the piece is the last chord! Avi sings that 3rd ledger-space (contra bass) Bb! That pedal Point unleashes a shower of overtones that creates the sound of an organ!

Fantastic Reaction! I love this live performance. Scott’s emotion really carries it! The vocal range of each of these members is amazing which allows for such creative arrangements! No egos in this group & they share the spotlight easily! Their catalog is wide & deep. Would love to see more PTX reactions! They released an EP during this pandemic including 5 music videos. You have GOT to check one out as each member recorded the audio & visuals for each song in their own homes! They can even breathe as one when they aren’t even in the same room together! Also highly recommend their new original that just dropped. Happy Now!!
What I always appreciate is the confidence and courage it takes to go on stage and perform such complex and intricate arrangements live. I've followed them since the Sing-Off and I've seen their confidence in themselves and each other grow as they've progressed. And, you're right. This group works because it's the group and the music first and ego's last.

I wonder what the note difference between Mitch's high note in his verse and Avi's low note about the same time. The large difference in the notes just gives me chills every time.
I'll keep saying it and I'll say it again, Kirstin is the most important member of the group and at the same time, she often has the most thankless job of singing harmonies or backup, but to me she is the rock that holds the whole thing together.
I personally think Kevin has the most important and hardest job. Christian would probably be second though. They both don’t get much credit.

Pentatonix's version of Hallelujah is one of my favorites and I absolutely love it when reactors choose this version. I like it even better than the official video they did! 😊
fun facts about kevin: he attended and graduated from yale for pre med before joining pentatonix. he is the only member of the group with perfect pitch. He lived in China for 6 months and is fluent in Mandarin. He plays the piano, cello, and saxophone. He is credited as developing the art of “celloboxing” which is beat boxing while playing the cello. Pentatonix has won 3 grammy’s. Talk about a talent. He has got to be one of the most talented people in the world.

Dayna, if you guys love that song, Penatonix has a CD thats called the best of Penatonix Christmas and its on Amazon for only 7$ and it has The Little Drummet Boy and Hallelujah on it and all the best of their best christmas songs and I just bought it last week. It was 15$ last christmas and now its only 7$ and I listen to it in the car so much! Its cheap and im sure you and your kids would love it just as much as i do 💕

You note how much you like PTX, but you've hardly reacted to any of their songs. Why not? From Bohemian Rhapsody to Sound of Silence, to the newer AHA or the very new and very inventive Wizard of Ahhhhhs, I'd love to hear you do many more of them. Lots of Dimash to go as yet, too.
