Hey Spider, right outta the box I couldn't help but notice, they really upped the quality of exterior slide coating compared to the G3 and the old PT-111 G2. It actually seems durable??? I brought mine out to our range, got my steels set up and was ready to run 500 to 1000 rounds down range that day. After just 125 or so, the knuckle on my right thumb was in so much pain, I had to let the pistol cool down and put it back in the case. I'm going to switch to the largest back strap today and hopefully that resolves the knuckle issue. It shoots great, but I thought the factory irons were total sh&^. I popped a 507K on top and holy moly, this is an accurate shooting pistol. I'm not wild about the trigger right now, but I hear others saying they get better after you get a thousand or so rounds down range. Your shooting with those irons is really excellent man. No BS here, you remind a little of Adam Sandler with the voice inflections and even the looks. LOL Thanks for a really good video. I enjoyed it. Sub'd $308 shipped to my FFL...great value if I can get the right back strap setup.

Big loose for my GX4 IS: - the rounds will nose dive in the magazine when fully loaded only , it will any bigger hollow point to get stuck on the ramp . (all of my older and never production gx4 do it. , makes it completely unreliable for JHP ! )
Get the carry. The elite sc is great but too chunky for carry. I had bought one and love it but it’s too wide. The GX4 carry is slim, well balanced, has a nice full grip with great texture.
@@Spidermonkey2a they are very finicky on that gun, mine will automatically close and load if you slap in a mag… kinda like when you just tapped the bottom. Taurus said that’s normal for that gun🙄 but I see guys modding the lock so it bites better.

I've 500 rnds through mine and also the Hellcat Pro. Only hiccup was an inexplicable failure to eject around 200 rounds with the Pro.

Im literally debating this or the canik tp9 elite sc what are your thoughts if you have shot that canik
Get the carry. The elite sc is great but too chunky for carry. I had bought one and love it but it’s too wide. The GX4 carry is slim, well balanced, has a nice full grip with great texture.
If you can handle a bigger size or if you carry appendix go with tp9elite sc wayyyyy better gun.
Maybe you hit the slide lock by accident
