Easy Portrait Painting Process Anyone Can Do

If you love painting, and really struggle with the drawing component of making your work, try this technique!
Please learn to draw by observation if that's something you want to learn to do! However, if you want to jump right into the painting part, and really don't enjoy the drawing as much, I want to share a widely known tool that no one really talks about: TRACING.
When you don't see the drawing process of your favorite artist, you better believe they utilize technology in some way to help them achieve their desired effect!
Whether people use photos of their original sketches, use reference photos from copyright free websites, or simply draw digitally, artists use digital technology to assist in their creative practice and trace their final designs. And that's ok!
I am just sharing this because new artists constantly compare themselves to advanced artists, and things aren't always as they seem!
Please enjoy this painting that I made for my friend, with an added bonus on how I got the painting to look so much like the original photo.
