    It’s getting harder and harder to escape development in FL. It’s not same FL I grew up fishing.

    The scenery alone was worth the trip, especially when it's a place that brings back great memories. Remember this, there are many places you may only see once in a lifetime for any given reason. So take it in while your there, Great video Christian, should have given yourself more time for all of us.

    What a great video. Excellent filming and narrating. So awesome to see you in my area as it brings back so many fond memories. I’m heading down from Canada on Dec. 27 for three months of kayak and boat fishing in that magical area. Can’t wait. I hope the outflow from Lake O is kind to us this year. See you on the water.

    🌴 Hey Chris , as an being a old salt with a bum foot paddle boards isn’t an option for me , I’ll leave that up to you young fellers , I’m redoing a nano skiff that gives me a bit more stability, I really enjoy your eagerness, capabilities, and videography, when you look back to when you were growing up compared to now the fishing has changed 35 years ago I remember fish were everywhere, boat ramps weren’t crowded, drop in points were abundant and things just seemed more tranquil, my how things have changed, it seems that being on the water around nature is like a place gather your thoughts and get rid of the daily stress , getting back into places were others rarely go and you can sight cast and it makes for a great day , it gets a little tuff fly rodd’n in there but love to see more on your channel, as always appreciate ya and thanks for taken us with 👍🏼

      @@christian_mastersonI couldn’t find the info on the Tournament vid🤪… where did you get that long handled triangular net you guys used on day 1?

    • @permitfisher
      @permitfisher หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have an old school “collapsible telescopic handle net” and it’s falling apart. But I can’t for the life of me find another QUALITY one. I’ve bought some that I thought would be good. They arrived in my carport with WAY too much chinese in them😖

    I love fishing in the mangroves, I use a kayak instead of a paddle board but I can easily stand up on it. I'm up in the Port charlotte area. And I have been subscribed since I first found your video's!

    Great video! Although it’s hard to explain, I think you captured the allure of paddleboard fish for the audience. I am not aware of any hidden creeks near me on the east coast, but I am going to scout around on Google Earth for some.

    How sturdy are those to stand on. How about fly casting? It would be great for some spots in Cape Coral. Good video.

    I would love to paddleboard fish, I really want to buy a small skiff here soon but until then what are some good paddleboard recommendations that arent crazy expensive?

    • @christian_masterson
      @christian_masterson  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have a skiff for sale actually haha. Don’t need it with new boat. Bote makes a great board for good price used. A good old plastic board can never go wrong. Durable and cheap
