Did Root Hog Rd out to Hill End in 2019. There was a lot of rubbish . . . old tents etc around the camping areas near the Root Hog Rd river crossing area. Monaghans bluff bypass work is going on Now . . . probably should go out again before the Bypass is finished and the area gets too busy again.
Yeah it’s a common thing unfortunately! Such a great adventure out that way, hopefully not too many people will know the root hog road way when it opens up!
Great video guys , one of my favourite camping areas , well done to you both for cleaning up our campsites and taking such good care of the pooch hope she's doing well ❤
Thanks for watching! It's definitely up there on our favourite list as well! Thank you, we all need to do our bit to keep these places open! The doggo is doing much better after the vet visit, we just make sure she wears her muzzle when we're somewhere new
We did Root Hog and Bridle Track as the first trip away camping - magic place! Can't wait to head back there!. Thanks for the video - will certainly check out the others in your feed.
Thanks mate! I did hear that they're working on a bypass around the rock-slide, which will let you drive the full length of The Bridle Track once again. (Get in before that because she'll be a busy road!)
Dog is isn't fit enough for the bush you'd pulled up and Camp near blackberry bush and once mozzies get on the fallen dead fruit it's game over $990 expensive trip

IIts the classic local bogans from Bathurst and surrounds that cause the issues there.
Yeah it’s not good
Nice video, shame about your dog though but still some awesome camping
Cheers Shad! Yeah it was a bit of a scare for both of us, just gotta keep an eye on her 😬
