- I am on my way back from Las Vegas!
Today, I got to stop by the Hoover dam just outside of Las Vegas and enjoy the amazing structure that was built years ago. What an amazing stop if you can manage it. Got some great BBQ and made my way to Flagstaff to camp.
Along the way I ran into multiple roads and campsites that were closed due to the recent snowfall the area had. I had to make my way down the mountain East of Flagstaff. Finding a camp just in time for the sun to go down.
It was cold but beautiful.
Stay tuned for next episode where I get to explore the area a bit more.
Thanks for watching.

I started "overlanding" back in 2009 when I had my jeep. Back then we just called it extended camping/exploring. Once we hit dirt roads we didn't leave it until it was time to go home after 3 or 4 days. There wasn't the hype about "overlanding" like there is now. Fast forward to 2018, I traded in the jeep and got an F150. I love my truck but haven't taken it off road very much. I've been too scared to damage or break it. Last year I decided to start a build on it. I decided to go the camper shell route and got the ARE MX. I've been slowly building it up and need to decided what I'm going to do suspension wise now. Your videos have definitely given me inspiration for my build. Keep up the awesome videos!! Look forward to seeing more adventures from you.
Hey man! So glad you liked the videos and that it inspired you to keep up the build! Maybe we will meet up on the trail some day!
We grew up the same, camping, off-roading in our broke down trucks. Never called it "overlanding" it is definitely fun to see all the new toys and things geared towards "overlanding"
