Wish they would show game highlights not just tries and goal kicks. There were some real highlights like Reece beating 4 tacklers and offloading, and monster tackles. Those are the highlights of a game.

In fairness it saddens me but blues v Highlanders final is probably a good reflection of the trans tasman comp. Crusaders were lucky to even have a shot to make the finals v rebels. They should of lost v brumbies and were lucky to win another. Moments of brilliance throughout but like today v the rebels some terrible errors. Enors drop was only one of many blunders today, mounga missing touch for a lineout close to the line and rebels scored down the other end, and far to many drop balls cost us today, but I feel justice has been served.
I think all the NZ teams did well, it was only small moments in games that were the difference. Could have been totally different finalists if those small moments weren't lost.
Thought this competition is gonna be like super 15. Sometimes aus teams vs nz teams and then nz to nz and aus to aus like a mix competition if that make sense. But guess thats the only way for blues to make the final, just versing the aus team hehe
If you look at a combined table from all comps this year, crusaders would be on top with 50 points, blues in 2nd with 43 points. So blues would’ve made the final anyway if this was a full proper competition
Good for the game in Australia, the wallabies have been lacking good ground support and the inter-australian comp isn't enough to get them to world class level. Hopefully this will change that. Additionally, more games for viewers.

Local competitions with lapse defence high scoring games cannot be compared...Playing Test rugby teams is a different beast, dont forget the ABs as a comparison for example drew with British Lions also lost & drew with Australia last year & lost to Argentina & lost to England in the World Cup
