The flat profile isn't bad, I just wish they had added more to the camera. It's all good for a quick turnaround but that's also coming from someone where that's not his only tool at his disposal. Most folks that'll but this camera, it will be. But there's always room for another camera as all brands love to clog up the lineup vs just putting what makes since in a single camera for the use case.

Be practical here, how many beginner content creators & vloggers do color grading?
Well here’s the reality of it though, if you can’t color grade 8-bit, 10-bit won’t make you any better at it. Learning to properly light and the limitations of any camera come with the territory learning to color grade no matter if you’re using 8-bit or 10-bit. Is 10-bit more flexible, Sure but understanding color theory and having access to start learning and experimenting is still important. The standard of what beginner creators want/need is higher than what entry level cameras are providing currently like the Z30. While a beginner may not turn into a full scale editor or colorist, they will hire out those roles and having a camera that can give them some flexibility beyond default standard or flat profiles is important. So, I think it’s very practical to have access to extra features without needing to buy a new camera every 1-2 years when they finally decide to add it but I hear what you’re saying though.
The problem with Log profiles is that shadows can get in the same place as the noise floor of the camera, so the video seems grainy or noisy. To get rid of this is over exposed the image before recording, it depends on the camera like 1 or 1.8 stops avobe and this can be corrected in post.

It’d be different if I was doing a legit comparison because it’d be facts vs facts with my thoughts at the end but the whole point of this vlog is what I’d look at if I had to choose. *this is a good camera to Compete with both the ZV-1 and the EV-E10. Len's in comparison one will be less expensive then the other but third party is fine. But Color Grading usually shouldn't be a factor if you've never done it before but once ya do...then that would be a consideration. But For Me I still have the ZV-1 and a6400 which I'm going to upgrade to either the A7C entry lvl or A73 but more n likely I'll get the A7C. I'll be lookin forward too seeing you doing a comparison with the 2 if ya don't have one*
It definitely is a great camera to compete with these and while color grading isn't a new creators first priority, having access to it matters. It's the same as buying a car that only goes a max of 40mph because the driver only goes to work and church 90% of the time. This isn't like a few years ago, new creators are advancing to better creators fast and needing to buy a new camera every year for minimal upgrades is an old and stupid trend all these camera companies need to stop doing. I just want to see these companies serve all their creators better and not just higher end cameras in the $3k - $5k plus range.
That's very true and sometimes the best option for certain situations. For me though, I only tried a gimbal once and it didn't go well lol So, maybe the next one will change my mind. For daily carry though, I can't see grabbing one.

It would have been really cool to see Nikon release that camera and some really cool entry level Z camera with some really neat features. I think this camera will sell just fine because it's got enough of the basics in it to keep it simple and fun, just nothing to directly upgrade to is the only thing. I think Nikon will be just fine. They have some cool 3rd party lenses on the way and if the next few cameras are cool, they can be well on their way to completely filling out their lineup.

I can understand that but that’s the cool thing of finding out what works best for you. Try a camera and see what you like or how it works for you and if it doesn’t, it’s always a win because you know for a fact what you prefer. I absolutely loved my Panasonic G85 but the constant annoyance of autofocus eventually wore me down to grab the Canon M50 in like 2018 and it was the best decision for me at the time.

Can u recommend me some rly cheap set to start yt ? This cams are presented as cheap vlogging cams for beginners But cam + mic + light + lens is around 1.5k here Like my mommy's 3 salaries lol We don't have used ones and my phone is unusable crap Great vid btw , my sub is yours ) - 🤖

Only thing I disagree with you on is Nikons flat profile - on 8 bit cameras I love it. Its Jordan Drakes favourite profile to edit fast

You can stabilize the footage of the Nikon on Davinci Resolve
