- Following my recent reviews of the Nikon Z30 many viewers have asked me to compare this camera with its closest rival, the Sony ZV-E10, so here it is.

Great review as always. I have tested both cameras in car vlogging. Z30 hands down did much better than the ZV-E10 which was better than the Canon R7. Cheers!

@@markshirley01 I wanted to test how they were controlled by the camera settings. I had the easiest time with Nikon. Whatever camera I chose to record while vlogging in the car. is to see how stabilization did off and on, autofocusing, car noise, and to see if it got a jelly/mirage effect.

@@basharatali9946 Ok the Nikon cameras can set midtones and clarity where you look fresh without any aging spots or blemishes. Sony cameras have a feature called soft skin. In my opinion both systems do great. Now here is another option for you. Canon always makes a person look great. It really comes down to pricing and what you can afford. I look into the overheating aspects and what resolution you will be recording in. 4k or HD. I believe Nikon has better control of the features you are looking for but all three systems are great. Panasonic S5 II is another option. Watch some more videos of other content creators to form your best decision on what to buy. Go with your Gut feeling and then take the plunge. @@basharatali9946 Sharpness & Color Science goes to Sony out of the camera. But Nikon is more Magenta if you prefer that. Canon and Panasonic are more natural. Hope this helps. Cheers!
Nikon needs some more APS-C lens.
No point in adding a FTZ converter as that is extra size and weight and money

Hi, I wonder if any manufacturer will make a vlogging camera with IBIS buult in.
Why don't they do it?
Is it because of the size and weight, or the cost, making it dearer?
But how much dearer and how much bigger?
For me the Nikon wins hand down. It is way better feel. If you need viewfinder then the ZFC or Z50 are very similar to the Z30. And now there are cheapo third party AF lenses from Viltrox, Yongnuo, TTartisan and maybe others

Which camera is the best for video purpose nikon z30 vs sony zve10??? I watch the lot of video's ... the sony zve10 have crop issue in 4k video and shacki footage and nikon z30 are only 4k video footage 28min only bcz of heating issue and nikon have are not crop the footage in 4k suggest me which are better for me I want to purchase the 60k to 70k budget camera pls tell me ? and which have good stabilizer video tell me ??
Just go with anyone you find slightly better. I went with zv e10 and I'm liking it.

just so you know the Z30 has the tallie light and the red frame around the screen, not sure why you did not see it, perhaps you need to upgrade the firmware?

Does the Z30 have recording limits or overheating when recording at 4k?
It doesn't have recording limit, but it will overheat in 4k, it depends on the ambient temperature. Normally it stops at 20-25 minutes because overheating in summer mornings. For me it isn't a problem and I think Nikon will fix that with a firmware update anyway for people who needs to use it for longer.
