Something I always wondered about this game, is how are any of the scientists you rescue actually rescued? I mean, they don't follow you or anything, they just run off somewhere else into the house filled with monsters that they don't have any way to defend themselves from. I always felt like they probably just got themselves killed a few seconds after you saved them.
Not trying to shoot down your proposal, but I assume you know if they work there they probably know their way around, and can probably run out of the place pretty fast before anything gets to them.

Knowing your way out doesn't matter If undead abominations are in your path. 3: they weren't able to keep themselves safe before you show up, so why would they be able to after you show up?
At first I thought this video was recorded off real Model 2 hardware ('cause of artifacts), but it is Model 2 Emulator with the crosshair disabled. I can tell because on the real M2 system, there's supposed to be some textures on the walls (woefully missing at 0:30). Eh... not like it really matters. ElSemi is legend of emulation for bringing the first HotD home in nearly arcade perfect form. I have had so much skill and practice done on this emulator blasting the undead in the cranium :)
what does HotD1,time crisis and lethal enforcers have in common...they only give you 6 shots...TC gives you a 50 cal...LE used revolvers..but this gives you a gun that look like a glock and i only get 6 shots?!

On Magician, I usually fired at his fireballs when he was attacking me, while it was still in his hands, blowing them up. I had been thinking that doing so is what hurts him the most--- or was it just the fact that I was hitting the weak point on his arm, and not the fire ball?

well HOTD4 already got released on the PS3 as well as the Special edition, so that's pretty much been taking care of. HOTD 1 from what I heard, SEGA lost the original source code, which prevents them from porting the game. They could still do a remake, but i don't know why they haven't thought of it yet.

The only thing that was terrible about this game was the whole screen blinking every time you shoot. Who had this awful idea... which makes me wonder... Why bad design still persists in japanese games? Dont get me wrong, western games have their share of garbage, but the japanese have been through a genre like RPGS for decades.... and they still adopt grinding. The last RPG that I played that had no grinding was FFXIII (IF you dont want to do anything post game...) and eternal sonata...
people on his house can take this classic on all glory to the emulator, and sega cant do it on the consoles ??? (remember the bad work on thotd saturn sega)
