you could use a ring spanner over the Alan key to give more purchase and leverage

Thanks for this. I'm on the same journey with the same vehicle so curious to know if you install a Chinese diesel heater and it's location. Great video!

Hi Ian, i just bought the same roof rail for my Peugeot Partner. The user manuel isn t very clear. Can you help me please? Which sponge tape did you use? The round or the square one or both of them? Also, the manuel says, apply in 3min before silicone dry, i don t understand apply what? The liquid rubber or the screw? 😊 Thank you for your help. Have a good day. Romain

I've just removed 2 of the black plastic rubber bungs on the roof and the holes seem a bit rusty, am I right in thinking a thread chaser will clean out the holes...any suggestions recommended...many thanks

    Hi Ian,
    Thanks for this vid.
One thing puzzles me. The black plastic screws the need to be removed before installation do not ‘screw’. On my Partner they just bend and break.
You skip this part in your vid so I am curious how to remove them without breaking them.
    Thanks!
    Antoin

I'm also struggling to get the plugs out too. How did you do it in the end?

@@ianwheeler7903 Thank you, I bought them. First time in a while since I bought from ebay. They actually look okay, hopefully they will fit!

@@ianwheeler7903 I fitted them today, the screws were quite tough to screw in and I had trouble sitting the rails flush. Managed to get it close in the end. Thanks for the recommendation!

Nah won't subscribe. Video is poor as a tutorial. People have asked for help and all you've said is 'was a while ago and can't remember. No longer have the van'. Not a very good tutorial 🙄
