I always went to the same starbucks and there ones a guy who worked there for a couple months. Every morning I would go my daily cup and everytime he would get my name (catherine) wrong. So, one day I asked him to just spell "cat".
He wrote down "meow" and his phone number on the napkin.

As someone who has worked there, it's ridiculous for anyone get offended when a complete stranger doesn't know how to spell your name right. Jesus, some people make it seem you have insulted their great ancestors just by spelling wrong.
People get mad when there names are simple. Mine is Sarah and I get either sidny (spelled that way) or sanayah. Yeah, it gets pretty bad.
Yeah Sarah is a pretty simple name but it is also spelt: Sara, Sehra, Cera, Cerah, to name a few. People shouldn't give them a hard time for not knowing how to spell their name.
Sarah Fuselier Also, it gets loud sometimes and they just might not hear you correctly over a crowd. If you really want to make both your days, just tell them your are batman or something. It's easier and gives everyone a laugh.
