When this came on at Glory By Honor VI, it was absolutely one of the most amazing moments I've ever witnessed. That crowd wasn't terribly big, but the sound they made was absolutely deafening.
I was in high school, so my mom had given me $20 for snacks or whatever at the venue, but when I found out he was doing autographs and they cost $20, I knew I wasn't eating that night.
I've met plenty of wrestlers in my life, and never been "starstruck", but Misawa had such a powerful presence about him. I felt like he could destroy me with his gaze alone.
正直言って、亡くなってしまう前の晩年の三沢光晴しか知らなかった。
今は便利な時代になって過去の試合も見られるようになったから全日本時代の試合を見てみたけど、やっぱりカッコよかった。
この人のプロレスを見るたびに「もう少し早く生まれていれば…。」って思った。
本当に惜しい人を亡くしてしまった。

Never was around to watch him but I’ve watched him now and what a sensation he was not just to Japanese wrestling but to all of Japan, thought till the very last day for our entertainment.
Rest in peace legend! You've inspired me to take the path of puroresu! Also, he had a nice taste in music, using a nice anthem from an awesome Jackie Chan movie.

@@mr.triplecrown9911 Thesz was great, yes, but he was also a notorious backstage politician and an in-ring bully and would randomly no-sell just to make people look bad. He wasn't the greatest of all time, sadly.

Misawa: the man who was destined not to live to see old age. This guy was so reckless in regards to his own safety, he made Mick Foley look cautious.
If only WWE2k had longer video duration for Custom Titantron, they need to raise it from 30:00 to 60:00(maybe even 90:00), cause then I would make a custom Titantron for this Legendary Wrestler

RIP Misawa-san. You are terribly missed in todays wrestling industry and would have died and gone to heaven if i had ever gotten to see you and Okada-san wrestle. One of my true gateways into the strange and wonderful world of puro.

@@BWDMovies Misawa died in the ring. He took a back suplex, but his neck was in such bad shape that it pretty much disintegrated when he hit the mat.
