    This is genuinely incredible. I just did 5 reps of an overhead press with 65lbs and barely managed to eke out the last rep because of my wrist pain. I did one set of 10 of the banded joint mobilization on both sides, and then I pumped out 8 reps of the same overhead press like it was nothing-no pain at all. THANK YOU!!!!!

    I injured my wrist 3 years ago, and have been dealing with pain during push-ups and bench presses ever since. Went to a local physio, they couldn't do anything about it. And then Aaron just solves it overnight with a random TH-cam video... (The part at 3:00 specifically) My gym life in the past 3 years would have been so different if I had access to a professional like Aaron here. I am so happy and frustrated at the same time...

    Thats the solution I was looking for...I have pain in right wrist..I used to do pushups with my knuckles

      @@Shrijeet0616I try cross fence or I jus cross sum and put weight on my wrist and it feels like it’s fractured or sum nd now I’m doing exercises and workouts for em and it hurts but like relieves it a little

    Been dealing with wrist pain, mainly radial side, lack of range of flexion and extension, instability in the wrist joint itself, for a few years. Mainly, my wrist is pretty messed up. Really good explanations and an enlightenment of what I may have been doing wrong. I could use a video on how to tighten up the joint itself as some movements will actually cause slight shift in my wrist. Thanks

      Hello, I have been dealing with the same problem, radial sided pain, and I very much relate to the part where you said you can feel a slight shift in your wrist with some movements. How are you doing right now, did this problem go away for you?

    Thank you so much this was so helpful! Do you have a clip around the best angle/approach for holding the barbell for overhead press - I often find my wrist is either too bent or not bent enough and it gets super sore. Looking forward to using these exercises too 👍

    Hurt my wrist 3 weeks ago, pushup position or any pressure pressing is impossible right now. Mental health going down the pan not being in the gym. Hopefully I can do these rehab exercises soon because that first one is way too painful at the moment and don't wanna make things worse.

    I was JUST worrying about my wrist pain when doing specifically renegade rows, since my right wrist in extended position against the dumbbell (when lifting the left) makes a vein on my wrist hurt somehow. I think I wasn't paying attention to wrist form when doing overhead press, maybe letting my wrists looser on the last reps. Has this happened to anyone else?

    I always just thought I had weak wrists and there was nothing could do about it. My mom and I both have dainty but weak wrists.
    I recently got really into fitness a few months ago and realized I can't do pushups, planks, or even fucking donkey kicks without my wrists hurting by the second set (first set for push ups). I'll definitely be trying these tips!!! Now I gotta find and buy a thin resistance band like the one in this video... I wonder how many pounds of resistance I should get? 🤔

    Had more pain\discomfort in one hand compared to the other. Had it checked and it was a ganglion cyst. Opted for surgery

    Hi doctor I am suffering from Back Pain. And going through your blogs at squat university I found out that I am “Extension intolerant” and also there is slight Anterior Pelvis Tilt that’s why I guess My spine remains in extension most of time. What should I do next to tackle this pain???

    You kept pointing to the inside of the wrist but I have pain right on the top middle of the wrist on both wrists. It’s been bad for so long that I’ve lost wrist extension and can’t bend my wrist far enough to do push-ups. I think it’s from heavy bench pressing and overhead press. Using the band or my hand pressing on the top of my wrist and trying to bend it both hurt really bad so I can’t do that. Any other suggestions to fix that?

    I have slight wrist pain in my left wrist after doing power snatches. Obviously I will take small break from power snatches and also reduce the load once I start up as my wrist is healing and I will apply the advice given in this video, but would you say wrist flexion/mobility work is a good supplement to work on as well?     I have hand pain, i had years ago boxers fracture over the pinkey. Nov i have problem using zip or pinching something. Or even holding tootbrush.

    Hey, doc. I get this pain in the pushup position and with front squats. I've tried the tension band approach (after seeing you do it in a previous video for ankles) but couldn't really tell if it was helping. I'll work with the towel though for presses and see how that goes slowly working it. How would i do similar but for front squats (or is this good enough for that as well)? Do you do these as part of your warmup when planning presses or front squats or do you do these mobility drills on days in between the days you're planning in presses or front squats? Thank you!

    Thanks for the mobility tip, I got a slight injury some months ago and now it barely affects my daily life but whenever I try to do shoulder press or trusters, specially, pain comes back. What do you recommend me to start using the bar again and loading it with the weights I used to have?

    Hi Aaron, I'm hypermobile and my mobility is too much in ways it shouldn't be. Is it safe for me to try because this all just looks extremely painfull to me. I've gotten 'help' over the last 4 years. I think I might have hEDS. I am always adviced to just to neutral wrist exercises but I'd like to do different ones, I feel weak and my body feels like it's not mine. It sucks to be told by everyone I should be happy with what I can do now. I know this is going to get worse if I don't train my body the way it needs to be trained. But I don't understand my body, I think you could help but I'm all the way in the Netherlands and I could never afford you anyway. But I was hoping you could give me some small advice...

    Any advice for getting back to full pushups etc after a scapholunate ligament strain? 12 weeks and still cant bare weight on it in a strict position. the towel trick worls but cant progress to reduce it at all

      As ligaments of wrists are a little to loose
      Make sure that you are using the correct weight and the distance of griping
      You should take care of your wrist alignment in slightly extended position and try stop too much pressure on your wrist

    Hi I did a bench press week ago. during the sets I felt pain on my right palm and wrist after 3 to 4 days I have started feeling pain right bottom of my thumb when I press it and I also feel pain in my wrist so I am not doing push-ups or weight training with barbell.     Hey I watched your video,got into the pushup position, and attempted to bare my body weight. I felt alot of pain in tendon that's parallel with the point finger. Also felt a almost "popping" sensation as if it's grinding against something while getting into extension. Anyway, I don't know what is wrong with the damn thing.

    Where are you at? Is there someone in San Antonio Texas like you? To many Dr.’s have no idea how to help. I have a lot of stupid issues wrist shoulder low back feet and it seems the list goes on and on. Any ideas? Are you available if I can’t get to you?
