Rather remarkable how much weight Gavin puts on impressing other people. Dont think Ive ever met anyone who makes big life decisions based on...what will my mother think about a small kichen. What will my friends think about a long row of terrace houses. Must be difficult person to be partners with. Quite an eyeopener to "meet" someone like him.2. Amazing how much one learns listening to Phil & Kristies tips/ advice.
When neither of them cooks much but he wants a big kitchen?? 😖😖😖🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I’m a big cook…but I don’t mind that kitchen…our public housing kitchens are THAT size.
I think this was filmed in the very late 90s, or very early 2000s because Faculty of Education is opposite that last flat and the University of Glasgow hadn't started building it yet.
It’s their money of course- but I would find it annoying if someone said “I just don’t like it.” What does one do with that information? Gosh Gavin would drive me crazy but maybe it’s because I love those tenement buildings so much!

Novar Drive flat is gorgeous! I love the glass insert in the flat door and the bay window is lovely and lets in lots of sunshine (when it’s sunny of course.) Could you please tell me how the sound separation between flats is in the old tenement buildings? I’m thinking it’s better than new built flats, but being from Canada I have no knowledge of such beautiful old buildings. Are there two flats per level? Please share whatever you know about these lovely buildings. 💖Scotland 🏴

Gavin is talking about all the old flats looking the same outside....but the modern flats all look the same and looking over parking lots.
Gavin's words were tenements look ugly.
Many different styles of tenements. Some of the really fancy ones look incredible!
Ah the luxury of buying 20 years ago - wondering if you should buy an old or new build - rather than wondering if you can buy anything at all.
This wasn't filmed in 2019 going by the prices, then you look at Phil & Kirsty
It was filmed in 2000.
Glasgow is a Brilliant City, but these prices are well out of date.
It was filmed in 2000..
Adam Smith's city ! 🇬🇧❤️

Ego in play.
The guy is more worried about what his friends think, then looking at reality! He needs to get some confidence!
I,m a Glaswegian and your girlfriend has more sense than you. Novar Drive a right good investment. The rest you couldn,t give them away!
